Powers on 10th — Restaurant in South Milwaukee

I recently visited Powers on 10th during the playoffs and was profoundly disappointed with my experience. The owner's demeanor was unexpectedly belligerent, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere for us as patrons. Additionally, our experience with the drinks was deeply concerning. We ordered a Spotted Cow beer, only to find it contaminated with bugs. Expecting this to be a one-off issue, we requested a different beer, but were dismayed to find the same problem again. This level of hygiene is unacceptable and quite frankly, disgusting. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Powers on 10th. It's disheartening to write such a review, but I hope it serves as a wake-up call for necessary...

This is definetly a friends only bar, I'm skeptical about the positive reviews it has received, as my experience was far from positive. While the prices for drinks are reasonable, the overall atmosphere of the bar is unappealing and dirty. During our visit, the staff made us feel uncomfortable by screaming and table-throwing Later, we saw the bartender and another staff member discussing and pointing at us, which escalated to them approaching our group and throwing a table. A nice little place near the main street in South Milwaukee it has the usual bar games and pull tabs and a flat screen mounted every couple of feet around the wall in the main bar area . I happened to be going past and saw they were open so I decided to check it out , the bartender and customer's we're all very friendly and I will try to stop again during the day if they're open.
