This is some of the best pizza in Pittsburgh. The dough is sweet (possibly made with cream soda?) and light making for a nice chew when baked. The crust is crunchy outside with a pleasing, bready, warm inside. The sauce is a bit sweet as well and they put a good amount of cheese on the pie. This is critical! So many pizza places fail to put enough cheese on the pie. I’ve never had a bad slice from here and the staff are always friendly, polite and quick; I stop here regularly (3-5 visits per month) so this consistency is amazing. Also a great place to host a kid party. There’s a side room for just that thing with several games available for the kids or the kids inside grownups.

We ordered takeout pizza —the supreme/combo and a chicken bacon ranch. The supreme was loaded with high quality toppings to the point that it required two hands to eat. As someone who lives in the Midwest where CBR was practically invented, the other pizza was good but lacked flavor. A quick drizzle of ranch across it could fix this. It wouldn't stop me from reordering, but I'd recommend a different pizza. Otherwise the dough and crust was delicious, (although a little undercooked from so many toppings but I count that as a good thing).

We never ordered here and after reading the reviews we figured we would give it a try! The pizza was great right down to the sauce, cheese and dough. I don't know if the cheese slid off or part of the pie was not well dressed with cheese but it didn't detract from the pizza. Things happen. All in all, we will order again!

My wife and I discovered Dante‘s about six months ago. It was comparable almost identical to Fiori’s pizza. It was convenient and local so we started to go there as our “go to pizza place”. We attempted to order one night a half white and half red sauce, pizza. To some people it’s unusual, but so is fruit on a pizza. We understand that the sauces will touch and bleed over, but we don’t have a problem with it which we clearly explained.

Back story: I’ve been ordering this pizza for several years. Harry’s pizza in the South Hills makes it, Fiori’s makes it, Luciano‘s Bethel Park, Luciano’s cranberry, Luciano North Hills, Lorenzo‘s, Mineo’s etc. the list goes on. Everybody that I know has no problem applying white sauce on the left and red sauce on the right. Is it really that difficult and that big of A deal Dante to have white sauce on the left and red sauce on the right? This is no different than if someone would walk into a burger place and ask for them to melt cheese on the fries. Just because cheese fries isn’t on the menu doesn’t mean that they can’t or wouldn’t do it for customer.

I spoke with a manager at Dante’s (not sure who it was) when I ordered this pizza. He came off with a very condescending, sarcastic cocky attitude from the get go. His response to me was, “ yes, I know how to make this and this can be made, but we don’t do that here”. Where is the customer service at? Is it really that difficult to put white sauce on the left and red sauce on the right? This now becomes the principal of the matter, and the question of, do they actually value customer service at all?

Very disappointed, and this is...

Received a cold hoagie, soggy fried pickles and two rushed pizzas full of grease and sliding cheese.

It was evident that our order was misplaced. We get it. Mistakes happen, especially during busy times of the day.

It’s hard to argue a time stamped phone call.

After paying and being told “5 more minutes” to then be waiting over an hour for a phone order that was told would be ready in 30 minutes to pickup. A simple question of “hey how much longer.” Was met with, a loud confrontational, aggressive and condescending employee who should’ve minded their own business interjecting and not only was out of line and proven wrong, still managed to screw up our order. I will reiterate, mistakes happen. But, a simple hey we’re sorry would’ve sufficed. We will...

Two stars over all due to the fact that EVERY SINGLE TIME that we get a pizza, the middle is never done, we constantly have to bring the pizza home and place it in the oven, they put so much cheese on the pizza that the center dough can not cook all the way through, we ordered a supreme pizza and the peppers and onions were barely even warm, our last pizza we specifically asked for it to baked longer so that it would cook all theway through, got it home and yet again still. Had to place it in the oven. Any thing other than the pizza is good, sammiches, fries, wings all good, it's just the pizza, the people are super nice and it's in a convenient spot, Every single time we've gotten the pizza we always throw...
