A few weeks ago, I was invited to this restaurant by daughter and her fiance, who were frequent patrons. During our wait, I observed their culinary skills and the work of artistry. I was very impressed. However, I wish I could say the same for the service.
When our food was brought out to us, my daughter notice a foreign substance ( a large fly) in her light colored food. We were very shocked. Needless to say, we alerted the waitress, who came over immediately and discarded the dish. When the waitress returned, she offered her resolution, which was to remove the entree off the meal ticket or my daughter could PURCHASE the same entree or another meal. That was it. Never offer of an apology, new order, gift card nor did the manager come out to address the matter at hand. I found this to be a bit awkward and a little odd at the same time.
Within my entire adult life, I've had similar or heard of other incidents (never like this one) to have occur before. I clearly remember the staff being very apologetic and offering an ideal solution, which you could appreciate when you're patronizing their business. With this case, I will never forget the stone face look, with no compassion, while she explained her final resolution. It was the most dehumanizing act-ever.
Usually, I refrain myself from writing negative reviews, with the understanding things of this nature will occur and continue to do so. In this case, I really didn't appreciate the nonchalant responses and the lack of professionalism displayed. This was clearly a moment, you would take the time to define the underlying issues with your organization, and address it in a appropriate manner, recognizing your mistakes. I'm not her to deter customers from your establishment or downgrade your business, but to express my concerns of your policies and hope in the future, you will handle all incidents in a...
Read moreThis place was not good. The miso soup tasted unseasoned and it tasted like bread, literally like eating bread in soup and there wasn’t any bread. Service is terrible, they don’t give silver ware and it takes them forever to come and actually take your order. The soups smells terrible and did not taste good. Their water had stuff in it like white particles of some tissue. Do not come here because I actually don’t have an expectation but this was by far the worst. So if you think it looks nice on the inside, everything else is terrible. Thai Basil is a great restaurant down the road so that’s a recommendation!! This place also doesn’t provide even napkins and the people are to quick to assume they don’t ask a customer what they want and they don’t have good expressions.
I just posted what I wrote above about 10 minutes and my food came in and so did my friends. I’m writing this now to tell you how terrible the waiter was. We were trying to be nice to tell him about the soup and he was rude and didn’t acknowledge and we joked a little when we asked for silverware (again) and my friend was like “we are gonna eat with our hands” and he just stared at us and walked away. Mind you we are not teenagers. We ate our food in disgust. The chicken wasn’t cooked, the sauce was burned, the shrimp wasn’t cooked, my friends soups smelled like some sort of like the sea (that salty smell you smell at a pier with fish). No one came back to apologize. Now a waitress just told us she will talk to her manager which was polite, but our actual waiter was absolutely dry. I have a picture of the food. They waitress was very sorry and I guess we left a little disgusted. I don’t recommend this place at all. (I’ve never done a review on a restaurant but this one...

My favorite roll is the Rock N Roll, which is made with tempura shrimp, avocado, cucumber, and cream cheese. The roll is then topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. It is a delicious and filling roll that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
