Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in South Vinemont

The manager's are friendly. I'm a longtime fan of Jack's but I won't stop at this one anymore. I typically order a chicken dinner. The biscuits here are consistently quite hard, as if they had been made hours before. The chicken, too: hard, almost painful to crunch as if they had held under a food warmer for hours Last night, I approached the counter to order where the employee on duty was leaning over, cellphone on counter, face in phone. She didn't bother to put down here cellphone or stand up straight, barely bothered to look up and mumble almost inaudibly, "Here or to go?". As usual, the biscuit was hard and room temperature Particularly disturbing, the chicken was room temperature, actually cool in parts. I should not have eaten it, but I did as I had worked all day and was hungry and didn't want to go home and cook. All the reasons we use fast food places, right? Fortunately, I'm not sick this morning Per health dept. regulations, items like cooked chicken must be held with an internal minimum temp....160° or so? This was far below that standard. Keep this up, this Jack's is going to harm someone. I had good hopes for this location when it opened but it has proven to be consistently below the standards met at most other Jack's. I’ll stop by Jacks in South Vinemont 2-3 a week. and here lately they been slippin’. I order the same thing every time 4 piece chicken finger dinner with 2 sides. Mac and cheese, (Delicious) and mashed potatoes with gravy. Well lately I’ve had to order extra gravy because because that teaspoon y’all put in just ain’t enough imo. Ok no problem, however, the problem I have is that my biscuit is always soggy and on the bottom and rock hard on the top. How can you guys not look at or even feel them rock hard biscuits before sending that product out to the public? Would you want to be served that? And this is an ongoing thing, there was about week straight worth of visits where I feel I was Gypped. I mean,, dang.. I’m already getting it at the gas pump, now because of “Benedict Biden”. Jacks recently came to our neck of the woods and we were excited. To say we're disappointed is correct. For example..the other day I went through drive thru..ordered for the family..stopped and checked my order..missing a fry..happens..ordered three apple pies..got home we had three strawberry pies. When I was inside retrieving my missing fry I heard the supervisor fussing as someone for not labeling something..I noticed there was like 12 pies under the light boxed..when we opened our pies it occurred to me what the employee didn't label was all the pies. This isn't a big deal but when you go ANYWHERE you expect what you order. I wouldn't write this review if it wasn't for the fact we have yet to see an order for our family completely correct.
