Biggby Coffee — Restaurant in Southgate

I used to go here frequently, everything was great and the girls were super friendly until they had one too many "no's" on their tip question. In my opinion when you're a single person, the store is not busy and you're ordering a simple coffee, or tea.....Is it really that wrong of me to think a tip is unnecessary in that situation?! I mean it's a coffee shop, I'm ordering 1 coffee. Anyways long story short, all three of the girls' attitudes changed. Now they act "different" and not in a good way. Also not good for business. I went to the Allen Park location the other day and it was very pleasant. I messed up and ordered a large coffee instead of medium on and somehow still ended up paying less than I did this morning for a medium at this location? 🤔 I haven't made a review in a long time but leaving there today I don't like the way I felt. It's been 1 too many times they have acted that way with me. Hopefully it's just a "me" thing and they don't do that with too many other people. Your attitude is unwanted, don't really think it's good for business either, and definitely not a reason to get a tip. They used to be super sweet..... Hopefully they go back to that, do better especially in customer service. Also you have no idea what other people could be going through financially. Acting snooty over a tip on a $3/$6 dollar order for doing your job is absolutely ridiculous. Don't worry I won't be coming back. Hope you girls have a happy holiday and...

Needs more employees at this location. Pretty obvious the 2 young employees working there were overwhelmed. Ordered a coffee drink and a sausage and egg bagel. Drink came up right away but waited at least 25 minutes for the food that never came. I think they just forgot the rest of my order. Finally, just got up and left. Others came in and out meanwhile and their orders were promptly filled; albeit, all coffee drinks. Tip: Don't order food, just drinks. You'll get out much faster... Also, it seems drive-thru takes precedence over inside customers, even if you were there long before the drivers. I guess I'm old-school and pine for the days when you could patronize a restaurant by actually sitting inside...Oh well, you live, you learn... **BTW, I never do reviews. I used to come here every day, loved it so much. the staff was lovely, they always got my order right, and they worked hard. i just went back for the first time in a while and the new staff is completely rude. I order my drink with oat milk and no whipped cream because i cannot have dairy. they gave me one with whipped cream (accidents happen!) i let them know and they took my drink, took the whipped cream off and gave it back. ive never been anywhere that doesnt make a new drink when they mess it up. 3 employees didnt know how to use the card reader (they were swipping the card upside down and backwards and getting an attitude with ME for it). they forgot another item which wasnt on the bill so i just left. I have never had a single issue...
