Side-Track — Restaurant in Spalding Township

Stopped to eat lunch while traveling. Chose here because it was on our way and had good reviews. Service was awful and the food was terrible. Waitress wasnt very attentive or friendly. Quesadilla had cold chicken and unmelted cheese. Good portions but bad preperation. Italian sub was served cold which wasnt expected( our own fault i supppose). The kids dino nuggets were good but that is kind of hard to mess up. Waitress asked how everything was while passing without giving us a chance to answer. $40 bill (no alcohol) was tossed on the table in passing also. Just had dinner earlier at side-track and it was absolutely amazing. We ordered jalapeño poppers to start, which were housemade and very delicious! For entrees we ate the wet burrito, paddy melt and bourbon mushroom burger. With fries and tatertots. Every dish had great portion size, well seasoned, fresh, hot and fast. We will definitely return to try more items especially the pizza which sound amazing! The service was also great! Our waitress was friendly, informative and tentative! This used to be our go-to place with our family of about 8-10. Unfortunately, they will no longer be getting our business. The past few times we have tried to eat here, they tell us "No food if you order at 7:00" or "we ran out of pizza dough." Being in the food business as owners ourselves, I'm unsure how you dont have pizza dough on a busy Friday night. We called 3 times in one evening, no one answers the phone.
