Food was ok nothing special. I ordered the yakisoba my husband ordered the brisket pho and he said the broth tasted really good. As for my yakisoba it had some flavor but was kind of bland. When we showed up we looked over the menu and another lady was behind us so we had her go ahead of us to order because we wanted to look at the menu and get familiar with it and we were told 15 to 20 minutes our food would be ready to go. Two more customers came in behind us and then 10 minutes later a table of four. The two people that came in after us had their food within 10 minutes and the table of four that came in had some food within 5 minutes while we were still waiting for our order to go. After around 30 minutes our order was finally ready. Funny how the guy who took our order said he was sorry because some Uber eats people came in and picked up their orders and we never saw any other people walk through that door to take orders to go. Funny how a simple order could take so long but yet other customers got their food right away and supposedly Ubereats orders. Anyhow I didn't find the food anything to write home about or even if we would order...
Read moreIf I'd read the negative reviews first, I'd have avoided this place like the plague. But this time, ignorance really was bliss. I'm not sure if they've got new people working or something, but my beef pho was perfect. Just like my favorite pho place when I was a kid, before they got greedy and their food quality went completely kaput, so since then I'm always searching. $15 for a small pho is reasonable, I spent $25 overall. The broth was just the way I like it. Not sweet at all (I hate sweet pho), but balanced and not overly salty. Noodles were soft but not mushy, perfect. The veggies were fresh and their chili paste is insanely good, kinda pickly, but I really like that. The portion is good, plenty of meat, but I'm small so do with that what you will. I was checked on to make sure all was good, and my food came quick. A family eats beside me as I type this, seems like they enjoy this place too. Peaceful spot on a Saturday. Hopefully this is the new normal, because I will...
Read moreMarch24: I’m pretty picky about my Vietnamese food. I feel like this place has really good quality ingredients and an assorted menu for a US-based place, even offering Vietnamese crepe (even though the online menu doesn’t seem to post it). I’ve only had that and the pho so am going to continue trying other items. Very casual spot/order at the counter and nothing fancy, but it’s clean and quiet. I’ve also ordered online once before and did not have any issues with my order being messed up. The large pho bowl is pretty big but manageable if you’re really hungry. Most people would probably be fine with a small.
Apr24: Tried the pork vermicelli salad. Not my fav and have had better vermicelli in other places. It lacked in flavor and tasted mostly like some oil and spice (like spicey, not spices in general). Peanuts do come on top so clarify if you don’t want any. I ordered to-go. It was very quick. There is an $0.08 bag charge. Looking to try other foods...
