Celebrity Dining — Restaurant in Spanish Lake

Loved it! We will definitely be back. Their All You Can Eat Southern Soul Food Sunday Buffet was recommended to me for my brother’s birthday. We went and we were kindly greeted as soon as we walked in the door, felt right at home.

The service was EXCELLENT as was the food. We didn’t have to ask for ANYTHING! The owner personally went to each table multiple times to ensure that customers were satisfied, and because of his genuineness, we thought it added a really nice touch to our experience. He had the staff come over and sing Happy Birthday to my brother, which just made his day. (We were told that they do onsite and offsite catering as well as event planning.Their banquet center on the other side of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful — IMMACULATE! Wish we had known… )

Everything was delicious and the selection was awesome! My brother couldn’t get enough of that Ol’ School Koolaid. Lol… OR THE FOOD. The fried chicken was very good (not dry at all or overcooked). We enjoyed the greens and cabbage, the turkey, bbq ribs, the fish, candied yams, Mac & cheese and more. It’s definitely “The Home of Real Southern Cooking!” The price was reasonable for the quality, the selection and the experience.

First I will say this, food was decent but the quality of the food was not good! Now this makes perfect sense to why the owner, or the little short man with short man syndrome or just arrogant, or could be doesn't know what customer service looks like. My family used them for our repast and our party didn't end until 5, we went outside to take pictures and the food was put away and some of my relatives have not eaten! The little man did not let them eat saying its not anymore food? We clearly saw tons of food left on top of that about 15 of us had to wait for them to cook more food while we should have been eating with family I mean we just had death! I do not recommend this place for after your love ones death at all and the prices are crazy for decent food.This tells me they use the same food for your family once you come in, so its not fresh it can't be. My advice is to you little man upfront a person dont care how much you know or do until you show how much you care a few plates for my loved ones that we paid for wouldn't have killed you. They don't need any stars, the only reason they received this 1 is because, I had 2 press the star to make this post, it's sad to say, you want to support your own nationality, but our people, are bad with business, most act as if that's the last $$ they will ever see, but this business here will not be around, especially if you want 2 kill the customers, r give them a heart attack, we let our waiter know that all the food was over seasoned, basically taste like salt!! He stated that the owner said, no 1 else has complained!! Oh wow, I'm sure they didn't?? The owner never came over to acknowledge the fact of the issue, we didn't want our money back, but at least, show a little concern, he probably told the other customers the same thing he told us?? But if you want your blood pressure 2 shoot to the roof, this is the place! And the food is just terrible!! 1 thing I can say the waiter was superb, but we didn't leave him a tip, I know this was wrong, he can blame the owner 4 that!!
