Koffee Haus — Restaurant in Sparta Township

I HATE giving bad reviews but this was my first visit and the barista was not friendly to me. She acted like she was irritated with me right away. They had an order with several drinks ahead of me. I was there to have a meeting with someone and rather than keep her waiting I said I will be right upstairs. Instead of bringing me the drink (I never heard them call and they never asked my name) they let it sit. It was a smoothie that was now melted. I had her throw it away and there was no response at all from her. I also got a croissant and it was supposed to be toasted but wasn't even warm. When I asked she just said well it was toasted. It wasn't good at all so that also was thrown away. Yes it was only $10 but it was more about her response than the money wasted....

If you’re in Sparta and haven’t been to Koffee Haus yet — run, don’t walk. Not only is the coffee amazing (their matcha, iced coffee, and lattes are always on point), but the people there make the experience truly special.

Sierra, who runs the shop, is an absolute gem. Every time I walk in, she remembers me, makes me feel heard, and always brings such a kind, calming energy. Whether I’m having the best day or the worst, I somehow leave Koffee Haus feeling lighter.

Also, they have gluten-free options, which I really appreciate since my cousin has celiac — it’s such a thoughtful touch most places overlook.

Awesome coffee shop!! Stopped in for a latte and a few smoothies for the kids and everything tasted great. I love a great cup of espresso and this more than fit the bill. We ended up staying and playing some Uno and checkers while we finished our drinks. The upstairs area is such a cool place to relax and hang out.
