We ordered burgers here, and asked for them medium rare. The server told us that because they were frozen, that wasn't possible. She offered to have them heated a few minutes less instead. We accepted the standard cooking, and about half an hour later (we were told that because the burgers were frozen, they took longer), we got them.
Girlfriend's bacon cheeseburger was one of the driest we've ever had. My cheeseburger was one of the wettest. What was the difference? Aside from bacon, just the ketchup and mustard. Not saying they were watered down, just that the Heinz sloshed around in the bottle like soup.
Once a hair in my fries turned up, I had had enough, and mentioned it to M (female owner). She insinuated that the hair was ours, despite that I'm bald and my girlfriend does not have short hair, and didn't eat with her head over my plate. She also said we were the first to complain (though online reviews say different). M also implied that because I had eaten most of my burger, the food couldn't have been that bad, and possibly there was never a hair at all.
In fairness, M did offer to comp an entree. I'm not a person who complains to get things comped, so I told her I'd apply it to the tip (and did). This was after telling her three times that I didn't want it comped bc we did eat the burgers. After the fourth time I agreed and said instead I would apply to it the tip.
A sole bright spot: the staff was lovely. I only hope this isn't one of the places where the owners (illegally) siphon off a portion of the tips. If I'd been thinking more quickly, I'd have left it directly with them in cash.
Despite that M hadn't batted an eye when we mentioned frozen burgers at fresh-made prices, and what the staff had said about frozen burgers, X (the male owner) insisted that no burgers were frozen, and told us that the reason we couldn't order "medium rare" burgers is that then they'd have to undergo extra inspections. Oh, the horror of mandatory hygiene! Or he was lying. Given what we'd already heard, I'm guessing he was just lying.
Anyway, if you go here, prepare to overpay for frozen pizza and burgers, as if it were an actually nice place. It is not. Response to Owner : Xavier, I assume? Hopefully it isn't trolling to type a name that's on your website.
If we were there two hours that means we waited longer than I thought for the burgers. We had two beers each, both of which came BEFORE our burgers. We ate and planned to just leave and never come back. The hair on the fries was just the final straw. We wanted to let the owners know. Instead they blamed and made excuses. My favorite was how busy they said they were. At the bar was ONE other couple. Behind us one man, to the right two ladies. On the way to the bathroom there was clearly more empty tables than full. I've noticed on these other negative reviews they always just offer up a fake excuse. Maybe learn to just apologize, say thanks for letting us know the problem and we will fix it. Treating us like trash because we had the nerve to not want to eat hairy fries...
Read moreVery disappointing experience to say the least!! My granddaughter turned 12 today and this is where she wanted to go eat for her birthday since she loves the pizza here. We go in, tell the girl how many, which is 12. (There's 5 adults, 5 kids from 10-17 years old, a 2 yr old and a 4 month old baby, which she sees its not all adults.) The girl tells us she can't seat us. We tell her we don't all have to be seated together and it would also be 3 separate checks. She says she can't separate parties and still tells us she can't seat us, its 7 pm and the waitress doesn't want her to. My daughters, their husbands and children start leaving. I ask for owners (by name) phone number and she says she doesn't know it by memory and goes and gets another girl. This next girl was super nice and not at all rude like the first one. She says she can push 2 tables together and a give us a booth, to just give her 5 minutes. How hard was that?? Too late though, the birthday girl, her parents and siblings were ill and upset and already left. I had to go find the nice girl and tell her not to worry about fixing us a place that we weren't staying. Why couldnt the first girl have done that and all this been avoided. Oh and the couples that came in after us that saw what all was going on and left too, they went to Misarados like we did. So that wasnt just our business lost but other parties also. I have other family that goes to Pizzeria 6-8 times a month and they were very disappointed in the way we were treated also. Staff dealing with customers definitely need customer relation skills and or training. I know its hard to find good help and lots of people don't wanna work these days but Geez. If people are gonna spend their hard earned money to support a business and pay your paycheck, they would like to be treated with at least some kindness and respect, it's really not that hard!! ...
Read moreThe young woman who came to seat us was rude, treated me like I was stupid, and was dismissive and so disrespectful. I was shocked at the girl’s attitude and obvious annoyance that she was having to even speak to me. Complete with the eye rolls and sighing. We’re a family if 5, and came in at the same time another family of 4 arrived. Our Families know each other and we’re visiting prior to entering the restaurant. We were not asking to sit together, but the girl said because our families were friends they would consider us one group and could not accommodate a group of 10. She said their system couldn’t Handel sitting two different tables and takeing two different orders. I literally asked why my family of 5 couldn’t be served. She said because we knew the other family that showed up at the same time, their policy was not to to split up a group. Tried to explain to her, that we were two separate families that we just happen to be there at the same time. And she said it was their policy not to serve groups and split them up. I tried to explain to her again we were not a group of 10. We were one family of five asking to be seated and that our friends were a family of four and they wanted to be seated separately. She was dismissive, rude treated us like we were stupid because I asked why she couldn’t serve a family of 5 at one table and a family of 4 at a different table. The then said in a very annoyed voice while rolling her eyes and said “ ok ma’am… well, you have a nice day” and stared at us like why are you still standing here, when are you gonna leave? I feel sure the owners of the restaurant ( probably the girl’s family) would be upset at the disrespect being associated with their families business. And have unfortunately lost a considerable amount of potential business form a few...
