Cedar’s Drive Thru — Restaurant in Spirit Lake

I have honestly sad about how poor the service was because the food was amazing. I generally don't post or leave reviews and try to give grace as we have all had bad days but between the cashier/order taker persons lack of care to any of my questions and not even trying to find an answer just saying she didn't know what "chatter sauce was" to which I clarified I said "tartar sauce" and she said she still doesn't know what that is but then she ended up going down to the next window to be the person that handed out the food and I said "oh hi again! Any chance you were able to ask someone in there what tartar sauce is?" She again said "charter?" Like she forgot we just went over that but then rolled her eyes and asked the crew. She then forgot to close the window before talking about how "dumb I was thinking the answer would change since the last window" I get it fast food is annoying, it's tourist season and it's hot and people are aggregating at times which is why I try even harder to be nice when I'm out to eat, I've been in their shoes! I was just so disappointed at the lack of common courtesy of walking away from the customers, (you know, the ones who buy things so the business can keep running) BEFORE talking poorly about them. Cedar’s has some of the best burgers around and they are so conveniently located right before getting into Spirit Lake. When we come up here in the summers this is our stop to get some delicious made to order home style cheeseburgers and some of the best fries!! We also love all the choices of fun flavors of shakes they have available to choose. The service is friendly and quick as well so we can get back to the lake with full bellies. I had a bacon cheese burger, fries and a small cheesecake huckleberry shake. The burger was pretty good. Fries are much better than any other fast food place, the shake was fairly good as well though could be better, might've just been mine, flavor options are better than anywhere else close by. Price is the only issue. The picture of the menu on maps is already outdated and prices have been raised. You order everything separate, so I think adding some kind of combo deal that would knock some dollars off when you get a combo would be a very productive add on. Thank you for...
