Giorgi's Burgers — Restaurant in Spirit Lake

Giorgi's has several locations (Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Athol, & Rathdrum) each with their own atmosphere and slightly different offerings. I suggest you give each one a try. They offer a variety of wild game and exotic meats nowhere else around here has.

I stopped in on my way home from a rather aweful day and was craving comfort food. On a whim, I stopped downtown Spirit Lake because I knew there were several drinking establishments in close proximity to choose from that also serve food. To my surprise and delight I saw that Giorgi's opened up where Messy's used to reside. I used to visit the Rathdrum location off and on for breakfast but have never tried a lunch selection since G.W. Hunters burned down in Post Falls.

Totally worth the stop! Their burgers are wonderful! Do ask the staff where they procure their beef from. I was pleasantly surprised as it's a mix. They are cooked to your liking and even though I ordered mine done with a crunchy exterior, it was still juicy. Do grab plenty of napkins as you'll use them. They use Daily's bacon so you know it's gonna be good. The fries were crisp and fluffy and the perfect portion. I only wish I had more room to fit in a shake as they serve Cascade Glacier ice cream too! If you've not tried it, yer in for a real treat. It isn't for sale in stores and only available in small establishments from what I've been able to find.

The 2 guys who were working there not only did a great job in customer service and made me feel welcome but lifted me out of my bad spirits I came in with.  I'm absolutely terrible with names so forgive me. The only reason I didn't 5 star this is because of their need for a better/bigger exhaust system. The whole place smelled like grease and so did I by the time I left. Perhaps get an order to go if that bothers you or sit outside in Summer. I can't...

WOW!! WHAT A GREAT PLACE from placing the order to eating the food everything was absolutely terrific. The guy who answered the phone - I think it might have been the owner - could not have been a more happy soul, ordering was quick and easy, pickup was too and the food - well I hate letting the word out on my new fav place but sometimes ya just gotta share. The burger was really thick good meat - I had to double check I wasn't given someone else's double, cooked to perfection with fresh garnishments & a nice fresh bun. The fries are so yummy and I just got their "regular" fries, they have several choices available though. Milkshakes, well let's just say maybe the best I've ever had. This place is an A+ in my book. I never thought I was picky about burgers but finally, FINALLY, somewhere around here has nailed what it takes to make a good burger. Keep up whatever you're doing because it's working great and keep that happy attitude and smile because it's infectious. Don't hesitate to eat here, hurry up and just do it cuz it's to die for!!! First off, the customer service was exceptional, which is a big one for me. Food wise, I got the mushroom swiss and my mom got the regular hamburger so I cannot speak for their other burgers but the ones we got were absolutely delicious! Not too greasy and the patty was juicy and flavorful! Great prices as well!!! We also got the garlic fries, potato fries and the chilli which were super yummy! The only thing I'd ask for different is that the to go burgers are arranged with the buns on the side as to avoid the sauce from making the bun a little soggy or at least have that option. I live 15 mins away which isn't much but it was enough to sog the bun just a tad. Still was an amazing burger and I downed it in about 5 mins lol Totally recommend trying them! Definitely going to be my new favorite spot to eat...
