From the first week they have been open Deanna and Duane and there son have been like family they are Amazing heartfelt, kind people, not a lot of people like them now a days and definitely not very many business owners run a businesses like them, they have morals, standards and principles! They have been consistent every single time we have been in there and always make us feel at home when we eat there. We had them cater our baby shower and they made just over 100 sandwiches in way too short of notice because of our mess up nothing they did, but they got the job done and then some!! they were super accommodating to Gluten allergies as well which was a huge relief. And everything was extremely consistent we did a little of everything and not one sandwich was wrong or had stuff on it it shouldnât have. Everyone attending the shower couldnât stop raving about the baked beans and pasta salad even weeks after we were receiving texts from people asking about where the food came from. Every sandwich was gone because they are that good all the different combinations they have make it easy to find one you like plus they have a Build youâre own for those really picky eaters and they are Huge! They even gave us all the utensils and plates and all the extra goodies and snacks!! All around just Amazing people and great food you can never go wrong with our new favorite family friendly spot the Hungree Bee! God Bless the two of you and youâre family we pray for many years of success for The...
Read moreI have flown down this stretch of SR 290 more times than I can count. As such, when I saw a little sandwich shop had popped up in Trentwood, I had to stop and I am very glad I did.
I got the recommended Hornet and it was exceptional. The bread was fresh, the fillings were piled high, and every element was of the best quality. The flavor combination â at least on that sandwich â was delicious and merged the sweet, with the spicy and savory aspects. You get bang for your buck, and the variety across the menu is impressive with something for everyone.
It actually reminded me a lot of Shamusâs Sandwich Shoppe, and I mean that in the best way possible. However, this place takes the great standards of that competitor and adds a different twist with a greater emphasis in spice (with plenty of ways to avoid it, too) and more unique combinations. Plus, you get rippled chips as opposed to kettle style â truly the culinary dichotomy of our time. They even had some baked goods, as well as pasta salad, that looked delectable.
I will be back to try their other offerings. If you want friendly, folksy, and unique offerings in an unfussy atmosphere at a fair price, please give this local joint a try. Just keep your eyes peeled if youâre approaching from the east; the driveway on the highway is âexit onlyâ and you have to enter from Ellen Road, which is a...
Read moreI was driving to the post office and remembered hearing about hungry bee so I stopped in with my two year old son. WHEN I TELL YOU I WILL NEVER ORDER ANOTHER SANDWHICH FROM ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! We walk in, super friendly, genuine people greet us. I order the Cran Bee. They ask, âhave you tried the beans?!â I say no, they give me a sample of the most delectable beans. Naturally, after that I order a side of them. Then my feral 2 year old wants to explore while we wait for our food. They have a little area with small toys and a table for drawing and coloring so of course he thinks itâs just the best thing. We get our food, and they just so happened to have a free loaf of rye bread that they graciously offered. On our way out they give my son a cute small little fluffy bee. I get back to work and open my box to find a massively ham packed, fluffy bread, post thanksgiving nostalgia meal. I take one biteâŚ. It has forever changed my taste buds. The flavors, everything. I will not be getting another sandwhich from anywhere else other than this place. I could eat this 5 times a day and still want more. Amazing...
