A+for Jenny! She greeted us immediately after entering and had a beverage in front is within 5 minutes. We both had burgers and the lovely gal cooking today did a delicious job of preparing and expediting our order. The Hendrix with egg was a great breakfast paired with a cold brew! The vibe in here is friendly and full of locals, however, I would encourage tourists and other travelers to give this place a shot. The grub is tasty, the beer cold and there are plenty of pull tabs, pool tables and televisions to keep anyone entertained. We usually play the jukebox, but today, enjoyed the pro bowl and our own conversations. I have only praise for Jenny as she waited on 20 guests in the bar by herself and with incredible accuracy and efficiency. She could certainly give some of the next generation servers in the industry lessons in professionalism and hard work. She is truly a top notch bartender! Since moving to this area of the Spokane Valley in August 2021, I can say that the Rock Bar and Lounge is my favorite neighborhood hangout. About every month or so I will head to the Rock for a couple beers on a weekend night after the kids are asleep. It is a chill, well-lit, clean place. On Dec. 3, 2021, my family decided to order takeout from the Rock. It was the first time I tried the food but won’t be the last. Worst service ever. The bartender decided to close the bar at 12pm because business was "slow". There were customers drinking and having a good time and new customers walking in. She told the new customers that she was closing and they only had time to order one drink. If they stayed longer they wouldn't like what they were going to see. She was picking at her hair behind the bar, gross. Since when does an employee decide that a bar closes early because it's slow?! I hope the owner knows this is happening because apparently she had better things to do than do her job and serve people coming in to a bar that is advertised as open until 2am.
