McDonald's — Restaurant in Spokane Valley

McDonald's. Mickey D's. The Good Ole golden arches. Everyone knows and loves McDonald's, the fries, the nugs, a nice lil cone, I'm a personal fan of the smoothies yum yum yum. But what is often disputed about the fast food icon is the customer service. Sometimes I experience terrible terrible things at McDonald's. One time I can recall a manager yelling at a worker for not cleaning tables properly whilst I was devouring a crispy chicken sandwich meal(my personal favorite). That in the moment was nearly traumatizing for a guy like me. Other times I experience 10/10 service making me feel like a special boy. Today was an anomaly. I go to pick up nuggets for my hot smoke show of a girlfriend and i find myself in a long line of folks looking to satisfy the craving of salt fries. The bad service starts at the ordering station in the drive thru. I was greeted with a voice that gives off the feeling of pain, sadness, and hatred. I finish my order and I get a: " pull up to the window" in such previous tone which almost made me want to end it all right there in the moment. Why am I here? To experience bad service? To be treated like I'm the cause of this pain? Maybe I am... Once at the window it's more of the same, a vibe was given that made me regret coming I felt like such a burden. I receive the nuggets for my girlfriend and move onto the next window. Where woah hold on a minute. I was greeted with a smile and enthusiasm that was unmatched. Maybe it's not so bad after all. I was handed my food with a prompt yet not so rushed delivery. And she asked me: "is there anything else we can do for you today?" Let me repeat that again "is there anything else we can do for you today?" Wow those hit home. Never have I been treated so kindly. Yet just seconds before this interaction I was in the mindset I was gonna write a bad review but this lady single handedly saved this establishment from a 1 star. Overall a 3 star is a accurate review in my opinion and I'm hoping my details kf my experiences can help you guys in your choices of where to eat. Thanks...

This place has gone downhill. I live very near and been going to this McDonald's since 2010, we were regular customers. It's our go to for fast food because the kids like it and it's so close, the other closest choice is Zips which now costs a fortune. For about the last 2yrs we've been having so many problems when going to this McDonald's location regardless of what day or time of day so we've been driving much further to go somewhere else but because of the traffic on Sullivan we've been trying to stop here and give it a shot however not once have we been successful in ordering. They messed up at the drive through after waiting for over 20min but were told it would take to long to fix it, they didn't even offer a refund or gift card. Next time we went inside and they had ran out of hamburger and someone needed to drive to Idaho to get some, the ice cream machine is down, the sweet tea hasn't been made etc. This last time we went inside and stood waiting for somebody's attention, we didn't even get a hello or look of recognition instead they act as if they don't see you. We were the only people inside waiting, one other person was eating, finished and left while I waited to order. Finally the girl looks up and says they're too busy to take our order and that it would be faster if I used the app or kiosk. I looked around and the drive through wasn't that busy and nobody else walked inside so instead I left and headed to the other Sullivan location as we had been doing. Idk what is wrong with the location now maybe they need better management and hire more people to work there. I saw three people...

Rude inconsiderate and piss poor management. Talked to manager last year with other witnesses about rude and disrespectful kids they have working there.

Now the other day I ride up on my newer harley in nice rock revival jeans and button down dress shirt. Order a large frap for breakfast at 11. Got several calls and had to respond to several emails for my construction business over course of hour and half. Used bathroom and step outside for 15 minute call after and leave my tray and jacket w receipt. Come back in and order lunch with 2 sandwiches over $10. Was interrupted 10 minutes later by a young manager telling me I had to leave the premises because I was loitering LOL! Idiot didn't even know the actual definition of loitering obviously.

Been going to this McD for almost 5 years. After remodel a year ago they act like the place is 5 star dining when the kids are snobs n disrespectful. Service is slow and rarely right first time around. Don't go thru drive thru or you'll get screwed and obviously don't buy 2 meals over course of hour and a half and talk on phone or you're loitering and will be asked to leave after purchasing your 2nd order of food in middle...
