Breaüxdoo Bakery — Restaurant in Spokane Valley

To be completely honest I’m super disappointed. I’ve been twice now, the first time was okay - nothing to write home about. Since the store front opening I figured I’d give another shot. It’s a 30+min drive each direction, so I was really committed to trying it out! The girl who was working seemed new, maybe? She was very unsure about every single thing that she said. Nothing was labeled, at least in the cupcake area. I had to ask what each thing was, and she didn’t even know what most of them were. How does that work? Isn’t someone supposed to know? ‘This one is either coffee, or pumpkin spice.’ (Spoiler, it was coffee) I ended up getting a couple, because I didn’t drive 30min to leave empty handed. The vanilla buttercream cupcake was so overcooked that it had the actual consistency of dry crumbly cornbread. And the buttercream was so buttery you could of told me it was a cornbread cupcake and I would have 100% believed you. The rest are still in the fridge because I’m not even interested after that vanilla one. If I was rating the entire interaction and the cupcakes, this would be a 1 star. That blondie bar saved the day though. Thankfully that kind of made the trip worth it, but still not really. Id stop by again for a blondie bar if I’m in the area, but definitely won’t be making the trip again for a fun late night goodie stop.

Just to add, posting my review on social media trying to blast me for my honest review and having your loyal followers harass me is not okay and has most definitely given me a great reason to change it from a 3 star to a 1 star review. :) This is disgusting behavior from anyone, but a business? I have been an OG customer of Breaüxdoo since late 2020, when they were still downtown in Spokane. My first experience was with late night delivery hot cookies, and my world was changed. Not only were they true perfection, I was also recovering from surgery right before Thanksgiving and there were some extra personal touches they delivered on that made me a forever fan. Since then, Gage has grown and molded the business into so many more things, which I love. I use Breaüxdoo for client events, for birthdays, and other personal and professional celebrations. Because I’ve been such a frequent customer, there have been two occasions where things weren’t 100%, which is normal because we are human. To me, it really shows the kind of business owner and human being you are based on how you handle situations when they aren’t perfect, and they’ve always been superb. That speaks volumes beyond just the quality of the products that they serve. Recently, Jamie Roberts with Three Birdies Bakery joined Breaüxdoo and it’s the literal dream team. Breaüxdoo Bakery is PHENOMENAL! I ordered our wedding cake from this bakery. They did a fantastic job! I gave them full creative control and the cake they came up with was more than expected. They pulled out all the stops and maintained excellent flexibility with the event and details of the cake! They delivered to the venue on time if not early, which was wonderful and helped my wife and I have a wonderful and very memorable wedding. The Bohemian cake that was made with chocolate caramel, and swiss butter meringue. The mirror glaze was amazing and the accents in the cake with color and the fresh flowers they used. Everyone loved the cake it was rich and we couldn't get enough of it. Everyone who tired it loved it! So with that being said 10/10 would order another cake from Breaüxdoo Bakery.
