Nunzio's — Restaurant in Spotswood

Wow. Just, wow. We ordered pepperoni pizza and hot wings. My God, I was speechless.

We came to Nunzio’s after a long, hot day playing baseball over in Manalapan. We were visiting from Texas, and were starving. Little did we know how amazing this small restaurant would be.

The pizza was a classic pie that you can only find in New Jersey. The absolute perfect combination of sauce to cheese, along with the greatest crust I’ve ever had, crispy on the outside and soft and pillowlike on the inside. And then combine that with authentically halal, Zabihah pepperoni? I’m stunned. And then, the wings. Oh man, the wings. They were the greatest and sauciest wings I’ve ever had. Each bite had so much flavor and spice, yet they had that perfect middle ground of being spicy without losing flavor. Even the size of the wing itself, which no one really thinks about, was amazing. It had so much meat and wasn’t some sort of lame appetizer. It was the real deal.

The best part, however, was the amazing people. The owner was just about the nicest person I’ve ever met, and his humility and kindness was just so heartwarming to see. I honestly can’t wait to come back. Thank you...

Nunzio’s is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was impeccable—warm, inviting, and full of charm. The customer service was in a league of its own; “amazing” doesn’t even begin to cover it. The staff was incredibly attentive, and their genuine kindness made me feel so welcome.

The owner himself, is the heart and soul of this place. He’s so humble, down-to-earth, and clearly pours love into every dish he prepares. You can truly taste the passion and care in the food—it was absolutely fantastic. Every bite left me wanting more, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The prices are unbelievably reasonable for the quality of the food and the experience. Every dish I tried was worth every single penny, and I can only imagine the rest of the menu is just as outstanding.

The food is delicious, but we ordered a seafood pizza with white sauce. 30 min after placing our order (15 min before it should be arriving) we got a call asking if we ordered a plain pizza. We said no and explained what we did order. We were offered to just take the plain. If I wanted plain, that’s what I would’ve asked for. At that point, the phone was switched to a new person who said they’d remake it. Yet, clearly they just threw imitation crab on top of a plain pizza because we got red sauce. None of the other seafood that was listed came on our order (shrimp, etc). This was my meal before work and came later than it should’ve, so I didn’t even have time to eat.
