SHEETS CREEK SALOON — Restaurant in Spring Bay

As I have said many times in my other reviews, I am not easy to wait on. I spent some of my younger years behind the bar and working as a server and I was damn good at it. Making more money than anyone I worked with in the same industry based off tips alone. When I go somewhere that delivers on food and service I am impressed but when I go in and the atmosphere is as warm as the food and then the bartender is on their job, the owner is in the mix making sure all is well and knows what a person wants, the beer is cold cold and the cocktails are perfect and the food is prepared perfectly from the fryer to the grill. The serive gets better. The owner comes by the table, all the tables and makes sure all is well, he's got a funny story and all 12 cylinders are hitting at 100% that is Sheets Creek and that's no Sheet. I will be back and I will recommend this place to ANYONE. Want to get out of the city and just relax and enjoy yourself then get to Sheets Creek. Oh yeah I was walking in 30min before and they treated me like it was a totally normal thing. This is our first time trying Sheets Creek Saloon, even though we've been trying to visit it for quite a while. Looks like we chose a great night to go because they weren't too busy. The waitress told us that we could seat ourselves and we chose to sit outside by the water. To start our evening we order the cheese curds as an appetizer, they serve quite a large amount of cheese curds and it came with a side of ranch, they were really good! I ordered the pork chop sandwich and my husband ordered the chicken strips. The pork chop could have used a bit more seasoning but I thought it still tasted good with the barbecue sauce on the sandwich and the fries were cooked to perfection! I thought that it was a great location to build and it was very nicely decorated and furnished! Okay so food was great and the waitress was trying very hard. What I didn’t like was when we went was 1)We was told a 15 minute wait to be seated. Waited 20 just to be told they’re waiting for the kitchen to catch up then we be seated so we another 30 minutes before just being seated 50 minutes total. 2) We ordered our food. 4 grilled sandwiches and chicken tenders meals. This took another hour till we got our food. We almost had to wait longer but the waitress got us up the line but if that didn’t work it was going to be another 30 minutes. 3) The music there was extremely loud we could barely hear each other two feet away from each other. 4) The owner was drinking at the bar. You have a business that’s extremely busy if you could be helping them instead of be social.
