The owners of this bakery Tatiana and Derek are skilled, friendly and professionally trained! The dynamic duo and the team put out the very best of baked goods in State College area and maybe even the best in the whole of Pennsylvania! (no exaggeration here) Their fruit danishes are my favorite but the rise and lamination of their croissants are in par with any professional bakeries in the East coast area. Tatiana’s cake decorations are simply the best. Daily updates on their Facebook page are helpful to know what's on the menu for the day. The staff there .. like .. Katy and Lauren are super welcoming and helpful. And last but not the least, they are environmentally conscious.. they use compostable food containers! Wonderful! I used The Cakeshop by Tati for both my bridal shower and my wedding and I have nothing but praise for Tati and her Bakery! Her desserts flew off the tables at both events, not a single cookie, macaron, or cupcake was left at the end of my events (we had huge spreads of her desserts!). My guest all raved at how delicious everything was and how beautiful the detail work was with my desserts. Her skills are unmatched in the area! On top of the products being amazing she’s wonderful to work with throughout the entire process from planning to completion. She was always welcoming to my ideas and desires, quick to respond to emails, and provided wonderful feedback with any questions I had during the planning.
