Alfano's Little Sicily — Restaurant in Spring Valley

Awful experiance! We were a group of about 15 for a child’s birthday and first the lady upfront tried to refuse service claiming the dining room wasn’t open even though it clearly was. Order was place at 5:30 and at almost 7 the order at not even been started. The lady upfront kept claiming g how busy they were as an excuse yet she stayed sitting in a chair the whole time . She answered phones and collected money as people picked up orders . At one point we had to walk up to the counter with water pitches to get the filled as den t lady refused to get off her butt to take care of guests. She took out hers and told us we would have to wait for one of the other 3 embeds who were actually working to stop what they were doing f to fill them while she sat on her butt! Her behavior is totally ridiculous , she made no attempts to help her coworkers at all. She was clearly mad that we were in the restaurant and refused to take care of us all. I know that the person working the counter is also supposed to wait on dine in customers yet she simply refused ./ not once did she get up and come to check on the table . The ladies cooking and new kid aren’t to blame . The lady upfront made the entire experiance uncomfortable . She just had an attitude in general. We ended up just leaving and going elsewhere . So a fairly big sale was lost due to the attitude/ atmosphere as well as the horrendous service . The lady sitting in the chair is a huge issue that should be addressed. It’s so unprofessional for her to just sit there barking orders. Her refusal to even get off her rear to fill a couple pitchers of water????????? Making coworkers stop working to do it while SHE SITS ON HER REAR ??????? Beyond disrespectful to her coworkers and extremely poor customer...

It rarely deserves any stars. The woman at the front desk is pretty stern, and never in my life. Have I ever been involved in an argument from a lady taking orders from a pizza place? It was a horror experience my Fries were not cold. They were steaming, and she blamed that the fries were soggy because I was six minutes Then she argued with me that it was more than that. I normally don’t do stuff like this but it’s crazy how she handled that situation from now on I’m going to Angelo’s better customer service. And they don’t get your order wrong I don’t want to come off rude or antagonizing this woman, but the way she handled this situation and started arguing with me leaves a bad taste in my mouth and not just the soggy oily hot fries that she blamed me for being six minutes late And not to mention, there is a hole in my cup of nacho cheese I also offered to pay if she could make them crispy and she talked over me the whole conversation before I could explain myself nothing against this pizza place at all. They have great delicious food, but the service could use a little work. And one of my cheese cups has a black residue and a little indent on it as you seen the picture below And even though I said, I will pay them to reheat them and crisp them up for me And she said no, which is perfectly in her right but then she told me that something they don’t do But they have done it before when I ordered a pizza from them so there’s just a lot of new ones so just be wise what you order and make sure you check your food before you leave the store It doesn’t matter if you’re a loyal customer. The lady at the desk just seems unhappy...

We sat for over 90 minutes for our pizza. They told us up front it would be over an hour. Ok, no problem, you're short staffed with no waiter. We were the only people in there. Seen 4 people come in to pick up orders. We ran out of water and I went to get refills and she said "give them just a minute" as she sat and sat there. I said "do you know how much longer?" She said "no I don't" me "has it even been started?" Her "let me check... no it hasnt".. and then "we told her it would be over a hour and we are extremely busy".... ok cool. Were we even placed in line? Were we by passed for to go orders? Crummy, Crummy service. The place is run down so bad... I don't care if the food would've been fantastic. This joint need shut down. Dusty, grimy. Broken down hand dryer/towels. My 6 year even said "how do we our hands now?" And I told her in her dress I guess. 1. You never went to the dining area to check on us. 2. You obviously and very clearly didn't care at all. 3. Pretty sure you were happy to get rid of us. 4. ZERO customer service. I seen another review about another kids party being fantastic. Was it just us? A party of 13 and you didn't even want that order?? Will NEVER be back. It had been over 9 years since the last time it the place has only gotten worse. Wouldn't be surprised if health inspector checks this place and closes it down. BEWARE. GROSS. UNCLEAN. AND DILAPIDATED.. there are much better pizza places around.. and honestly we ended up at another and had out 5 pizzas out in no time. And...
