This is a tough place to rate. I think in a lot of other cities this could be a 5-star place, but in Vegas, it's an pretty average 4-star restaurant.

Another sushi restaurant that does an omakase, Kyara, is right down the street. It's $25 more than the top omakase at Kase, but is substantially better. I'm talking not even close.

If the rating stopped there then Kase would be a 3-star. But Kase has cheaper options for Omakase that appeals to a wider range of customers, and I am a firm believer that anyone who enjoys sushi should experience omakase at least once. Kase doesn't have the traditional omakase experience where you can interact with the chefs or even see them work however, it's more geared towards bigger groups who go out for sushi.

All that being said, I think the non-sushi items were generic, not very well thought out, and honestly did not flow with the meal. I was disappointed to say the least. The sushi, however, was good. I have no complaints on the quality of fish or the rice. I think it was a very solid offering that I enjoyed and if you're into something besides just basic tuna and salmon, you would enjoy it too.

It's just hard to give Kase 5-stars when as stated above, for $25 more you're getting a substantially better experience. At least with Kase you don't need to worry about finding a reservation, so it's got that going for it.

I don't think I will be back, but that has nothing to do with the quality of fish. I think Kase is great for someone who wants to experience omakase but isn't sure they would like it, or for groups of 3-6 who want sushi but don't want to waste time and money on most...

I love how some of the best restaurants are just tucked away in the corner of strip malls. Kase is an absolute example of that.

Now some people will take a look at the menu and ask “But where are all of the rolls?!” (Covered in sugar and mayonnaise). NOT HERE.

The best sushi bars are the ones where you don’t order off the menu and the chef gives you tasty bites until you’re full. That is the centerpiece of Kase. An “omakase” based menu and you just pick how many courses you’d like.

Every. Single. Bite…. Was an absolute joy. From the warm nigiri rice to the accoutrements atop the expertly cut fish. I’m a sushi chef by trade so believe me, every bite of fish was top shelf. Salmon isn’t my favorite, Kase’s dish with it was perfect. Every fish was of the highest quality. (Ok To be fair I’m not a fan of seaweed salad and that’s the only one thing I was just meh about). The hand roll with Akami and toro. The kampachi was INSANE. Seriously every fish bite was in contention for the best I’ve had.

It’s so easy for people to get stuck in their sushi ordering ways. I URGE you to go try something new and put yourself in the competent hands of Chef Tony. You will not be disappointed (and you’ll probably discover it’s your new favorite sushi bar)

Thank you Kase! I will be back on my next trip to...

What a hidden gem people!!! This restaurant was pleasantly surprising. The staff was upbeat and cheerful, my waiter Nick was exceptional. He not only knew the menu, he could recite the dishes down to the last detail. I had the $38 6 course chef selection, and what a surprise! The fish is top notch, perfect size bites so you can enjoy conversation and not have to cut your sushi in half to be ladylike while you're enjoying your time with your guests. The ambiance was just right too, with the gray and gold color scheme. It was pleasantly relaxing and slightly on the dimmer side, which I prefer after a long day. The temperature was a perfect contrast to the summertime desert heat. It made my dining experience all the more pleasant. I sat at the bar by myself. I was pleased to watch the Friendly and upbeat staff be of service. This place has only been in business for a couple of months, but definitely deserves more local business. I have been in this town for over 25 years and I will definitely be back. I urge you to help support our outstanding local businesses and give this place a try. The menu was not overwhelming and very fish quality oriented. I left there entirely satisfied and I will definitely be telling my friends about this hidden gem in the desert. Thank you for such a nice refreshing...

If you never had an Omakase experience then I’d say this is a good experience for you to start at since the process point isn’t too high and is a great introduction. I’ve eaten here at least twice but I’ll be basing this review off my most recent experience. We got the Oomori (7 course tasting). The food was decent but ironically the hand roll seemed like the best part of the whole thing so I’d suggest that and ordering a la carte if you don’t choose Omakase. But then again each item is priced way more than the Omakase so it seems right to come here mainly for the Omakase. This whole experience for us took 2 hours but that’s because they started to sync our omakase with another group. If you come here when it’s less busy then your experience will definitely be faster and more enjoyable. Although normal omakase can take this long, this experience would be best if it was faster. We noticed that there was a premium tasting as well but not until after we ordered because it doesn’t have it itemized underneath. Would definitely consider this next time especially when it’s slower.

We WILL come back again Service: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Vibes: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 I took my Gf here for her birthday. We were treated with so much care and was provided detailed information from start to finish. All I have to say is this Omakase Style Restaurant exceeded beyond my expectations. A 7-Course Omakase meal literally had us so full at the end. The price to quality ratio was very affordable. You won't get this type of quality fish at a AYCE sushi place. You can tell the chef perfects each dish, and really cares on the quality being served. My favorites were ALL of them , but my top 3 was: The Blue Crab HandRoll & Temaki HandRoll .... Omg. The Tuna Flight which had 4 different types of tuna. The Fatty Tuna was the best ever. & lastly the Scallop Nigiri, so good. The chef also served us an unexpected birthday dessert Mochi ice cream at the end for us. Hands down guys, top 3 Omakase Spots in town RIGHT NOW.
