Before diving into the details, it's important to note that Mr. Mama's Breakfast and Lunch has earned a well-deserved reputation as a charming gem of the Las Vegas Strip. Mr. Mama occupies an unassuming storefront in a strip mall, but its interior exudes warmth. It blends retro diner aesthetics with personal mementos that evoke a small-town charm. The walls are adorned with eclectic tchotchkes and framed family photos, giving the space a distinctly homey vibe. Each booth feels like a cozy alcove, perfect for conversation. The show's star is undoubtedly the Breakfast Burrito—an impressive 12-inch tortilla lovingly wrapped around fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp potatoes, sautéed green and red bell peppers, sweet onions, melted cheese, and savory sausage. Each ingredient retains its distinct flavor within the roll, providing bursts of taste and texture: the peppers add a gentle kick, the onions contribute a hint of sweetness, and the sausage brings a satisfying richness. It's the kind of dish that feels both indulgent and balanced, perfect for fueling a day of exploration or simply enjoying good conversation.
Overall Verdict Mr. Mama's Breakfast and Lunch stands out as a quintessential local spot in Las Vegas—far removed from the neon-lit glamour of the Strip, yet no less memorable. Its dedication to hearty, homey breakfasts and an ambiance that feels like a warm embrace secures its place among the city's most beloved morning-time treasures. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned local, a stop at Mr. Mama's promises generous portions, genuine smiles, and comfort food that lingers long after...

It's full of flavor from the green sauce, creamy with the avocado, and the pork and potatoes inside were perfectly seasoned, all wrapped up tight in a warmed tortilla, covered in green sauce! So delicious and filling! You could drink the sauce it was soooo super good! Highly recommended! My husband had the Homemade Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. The corned beef was a little dry, but the hash browns were pretty tasty and flavorful. Not sure if they used butter but it tasted like it was cooked with real butter. So yummy! The toast was perfectly toasted and not burnt. The cooks were on point today! Customer service is always friendly and refill your coffee often. Atmosphere is good with no booths, yet lots of spaced out tables. They repainted the walls which looks great, clean, and easy on the eyes. Recommend coming during the week if you can, otherwise the busiest times are on the weekends for bfast with lines going out the door and wait times up to 45 minutes or so. Can get very crowded and ruin your experience. One day will have to come for lunch as we have only experienced bfast. Parking is open and shared with other businesses. Thank you Mr. Mama's for always cooking up great tasting food for your community over the years! Below review was 3 years ago Absolutely love coming here! The best deal and tastiest breakfast that we know of on the SW side of town. The best sausage gravy and biscuits I've had! Service is always great and they always come around to keep your coffee topped off. Wait times may vary as this is a popular breakfast spot, the place is packed, yet tables are socially-distanced, and it gets super busy on Sundays after church, so if you want to try this place out, I recommend going on a weekday. The country potatoes are perfect and never heavily seasoned like at Egg Works. Your belly will not be disappointed!...
Read moreMy wife ordered a wrap but hers was mixed up with another table, no big deal right? Unfortunately we saw another table get her wrap a couple tables away and as the other customer picked it up to eat after eating a few fries our server told them they got the wrong order before they took a bite, literally having it an inch from their mouth. The server took the plate from the customer and gave her the one my wife had just handled even though we alerted the staff she had picked it up before noticing it wasn’t what she ordered. So instead of taking both wraps back to the kitchen and disposing of them they tried to just switch them even though other customers had just touched them. We told the server we don’t want it, she said I’ll have to see if the manager will take it off our bill. My wife got up and told the other customer she touched her food and not to eat it and the server immediately got upset. Whats crazy is another server simultaneously brought back the same wrap we had just refused instead of throwing it out. She claimed they just made a fresh one even though we watched her just take it from our server, it never left the dining area. And after all this disgusting behavior when we left the miserable cashier woman said “you are the table that refused your wrap even when we fixed it”. My wife burst out laughing in disbelief which elicited a “next time you will have to pay if you send something back”. Unbelievably weird experience. I enjoyed the omelet and side I ended up sharing with the wife because she was so grossed out by the staff to order something else, so the food is good just let down by the sleazy behavior of the staff. My wife and I have both worked in restaurants and known things happen and its not an issue just correct the mistake and all is well....
