Mooney's Rusty Horse Bar and Grill is the only place in the Village of Spring Valley, Wisconsin that serves food outside of your Basic Frozen Bar Pizzas which are OK depending on the Brand of Frozen Pizzas that the Bar has to offer and how long the Bartender cooks the pizza. In my opinion, a pizza is cooked properly when the cheese on top is slightly brown. Some Bartenders put the pizza in the oven, set the timer manufacturer's suggested 15-20 minutes, and never bother to check to see if it's cooked properly. If pizzas are the only food items that a bar carries then take pride in making it the Best Pizza Ever. Mooney's Rusty Horse Bar and Grill's Menu offers a variety of Tasty and Delicious foods that are cooked and or grilled to your liking and to order. Mooney's has your basic bar-and-grill Frozen Pizzas, deep-fried appetizers, Lunch Menu, and/or Supper Menu whichever you prefer to call the Menu. L Mooney's Menu consists of different types of hamburgers and or cheeseburgers. Their menu offers just a Sandwich of your choice only or ordering a Basket means adding Your Choice of Fries with your sandwich. Mooney's offers a variety of delicious foods on their menu from Burgers, Grilled or Deep Fried Chicken Breast Sandwiches, Fish Sandwiches, and Steak Sandwiches, all burgers and sandwiches can be made into Wrapped sandwiches or salads. Mooney's also offers Seafood dinners such as Fried Shrimp Dinner, Grilled Shrimp Skewers dinner, Deep Fried Beer-battered Cod Fish fillets, or Deep Fried Catfish Fillets dinners, and Fried Pollock fish Sandwiches or Baskets. I have always been in during the day on my motorcycle, but tonight Feb 14 for Valentine's Day we wanted a nice no reservation meal... Well we got that ! Crystal was cooking and it was fantastic, I had cod and shrimp skewers with slaw.. but not only was it good, but so darn affordable ! Everyone is so friendly ... Even staff that were off stepped in to help because of a rush of customers that came all at once. This is 40 min from me, and the roads were cruddy tonight, but it was worth it !!! Wish we had this place...

A great find! My wife and I were early to check out the caves, so we thought we would grab lunch in town. We are very glad we did! Alfonzo (I hope I didn’t botch the spelling) and Crystal were terrific hosts of this mom and pop operation. They welcomed us non-locals with open arms and openly engaged in conversation.
