Extremely rude bartender (possibly owner, called it "her" bar). DDasher, was picking up an order and there was zero parking spots. Literally zero, save handicapped and the reserved for other business. Parked the only place i could to come grab the order. She told me i cant park there, which i explained that there was literally zero other parkin spaces available and I'm just picking up an order. She continued to talk back to me saying that i can only say "ok" to her and thats all i can say back to her, nothing else. Specifically stating "all you can say to me is yes, ok". Sorry maam but I don't take orders from you when i can and cant speak. Again explained, there was no where to park and I'm just picking up an order, not staying here. She then threatened to cancel the pickup on me, told me to never pickup there again. I said as long I am assigned an order there I won't be denying it just for her and that she can certainly get ahold of DD thru the merchant portal to block me from picking up. She then said I'm not talking to you at all, which i just said I'm trying to help her. I asked her to also please move along with the order so i can leave instead of continuing to talk back to me, but instead ahe kept dragging out getting the order to me and kept stopping and talking to whoever would listen to her. Extremely rude and unprofessional especially if it is her bar. Will never spend my money there ever. Edit: by the looks of the reviews, this female bartender/owner has had many complaints. Please discipline your staff. As a restaurant manager, I could never imagine speaking to anyone the way she spoke to me and continued to hold my order hostage to force some form of compliance from me. I completely understand what she was saying, it was the fact that I wasn't allowed to explain myself and told "all i can say is ok" to her and shut up basically. A great rule of thumb is to remember that doordashers are also potential customers, and often times already are customers, we are not less than any other person there. She's not my mother, she's not my boss. I spoke to her with complete respect throughout the entirety of the conversation all while she continuted to threaten me by stopping my delivery and then state SEVERAL times that she would "pray for me" as i was leaving, which is dispicable behavior. She definitely had to fight to get the last word and got increasingly aggressive as I...
Read moreWhen you walk in the front door it would be nice to have a sign saying seat yourself, especially when busy. Heads up & not a complaint but there is no seating area to sit if the bar and tables are full. Not even much of a standing area when you have a group. The tables are right there when you walk in.
Once a table became available I took a dirty one and waited for someone to come around to clear it. Even for being a new business it took a little too long in my opinion to have someone notice it needed attention.
We had a mixture of two waitresses which was confusing. One would say they were taking over for the other one but then the other would show up again. It took way too long to get drinks or food. It looks like someone from the business mentioned they are getting new people hopefully that will help them out.
The salsa and queso taste like Tostinos products. If you want extra chips they won't let you purchase another basket of chips. Instead you have to order the queso, salsa, and chips again. The garlic parm fries had no flavor. Barely any parm on them and they needed salt or something. The burger I ordered was extremely greasy. Someone had ordered the Indian taco and the fry bread was way too sweet. Another ordered a wrap. None of us put a dent in our food as it wasn't good. We paid and left. The one server we had at the end was very apologetic. Two of us ended up with severe stomach issues after...
Read moreHorrible customer service, by the GM specifically. We came for my husband’s birthday- also came early to avoid the rush. Table was dirty & flies landed on us the whole time. It’s part of eating outside, though they didn’t address it. They were out of the tap beer he wanted, which was fine. But then I asked if they did birthday treats. They said they didn’t do bday treats because the restaurant was so new. They could sell the desserts- but they couldn’t comp them? Ok, Whatever. They also were “too new” to have a happy hour, or any food specials. I said okay, thanks anyway and we ordered. Then the GM came out and interrupted our meal to make excuse after excuse for why they couldn’t comp a $7 dessert, which we never even complained about. She went on and on about how they would have to call the owner to get approval for a free dessert & they just can’t keep up with all the beer they’re selling out of & so many people have to get paid... (what a problem to have, I guess!) A few “no’s” was enough to just roll with- but her uninvited rant was overkill. I tried to hint that we GOT THE POINT by saying “ok- we’re just going to enjoy our meal now...” and waited for her to leave... and she said “are YOU having a good day?” RUDE. Way to ruin a nice birthday dinner, GM. Will not be coming back and will spread the word. Decent food, understocked beer, a GM that needs to go work for the DMV & a very poor...
