I went through the drive thru yesterday and ordered a chocolate cone and a chocolate cone dipped with chocolate. The cashier read the order back to us at the speaker and everything was correct. However, when we got our food, the ice cream for the dipped cone was vanilla. I went inside to get my order corrected, where I told the cashier my issue and she insisted that it was vanilla ice cream. She went to go get the manager, and in the meantime, another customer (who ordered inside) realized that her order was wrong too. The store owner eventually comes out, helps the other customer first, and then talks to me. I tell her the issue and she said “We made what you told us at the window. It’s your responsibility to make sure that your food is correct.” And I told her that the order was right when they read it back to us, but they still handed us the wrong food. The owner then proceeded to say rudely “Well we’ll fix your mistake this time but next time you’ll have to pay to replace it”. Why am I being blamed for a mistake that your staff made? Especially when it’s evident that the cashier isn’t perfect since the other order was wrong too. A separate worker made my remake, pushed it across the counter to me without a word and walked away. I have never been so frustrated with customer service in my life. I won’t be back to...
Read moreCame here today to have dinner with my family before going grocery shopping. My son ordered a 4 chicken basket. The menu says with drink. Nothing was mentioned by the guy at the register (who btw seemed to not only not know what he was doing but was rude) that we had to order with a drink or ask of we wanted the drink. When I went up to say we didn't get his drink the guy told us we had to order it separately. That was another $2.03 for a medium drink. My other son order a kids meal. He wanted chocolate but apparently they have have that. I ordered a #3 Which was a cheeseburger and fries. Might as well call it a mustard sandwich with a little bit of meat and cheese and some ketchup. Same for my daughter who ordered a #5. The chicken strips had a bad after taste. All of our drinks had ice clear to the top of the cup then had pop in it. One of the workers had someone come in and they were talking extermly loudly and talking about someone in their family or friends very loudly to where we could hear the conversation. There were curse words used very loudly. I will honestly probably...
Read moreMy husband went to grab us some ice cream and brought back a mess. Upset that there were no lids on my Sunday or his blizzard that were already mostly melted. He didn’t was to hold up the line any further after already waiting 30 minutes to get his ice cream and there being a line still wrapped around the building and out into the road 15 minutes before close. We live less than 5 minutes away and almost none of my Sunday is solid ice cream, it’s like it’s been sitting out for an hour, melted and warm. The convenience of having a DQ so close to home was a nice opportunity but every time we’ve gotten anything it’s always a 30-45 minute wait in the drive thru and the ice cream we get is not worth the time waited let alone the money spent. Horrible, at this point I’d rather drive all the way out to Young’s and spend the time waiting there, at least the quality is worth the money...
