Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield

I placed my order on line because I had just got off work. When I went in the girl said that it would be a few minutes and she walked off. Well it took her along time to show back up so when my food was ready she was somewhere but not at the counter. In the meantime a couple walked in to eat at Donatos and another girl comes from the kitchen to wait on them, she never asked me what I was waiting on so I could leave . So I got up to look for anybody to give me my food and finally the girl that waited on me shows up and the other asked her to give me my food. So I said where have you been and this girl just cracks up laughing, I told her I'm NOT LAUGHING and then I asked her was my dressing in my bag because I ordered a pizza and wings she said yes and walked off. Then the other girl who was waiting on the customers who had just walked in told me that just because the other girl waited on me she doesn't have to stay with me until I get my food. I told her I'm not asking her to stay with me BUT COULD YOU AT LEAST COME AND CHECK ON ME SO I CAN HAVE MY FOOD ??? IT'S CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! Then I asked where the dressing was for my wings because they said I had it and I DID NOT. So after I left I looked at my pizza and I ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni and extra cheese. What I got was MORE TOMATO SAUCE THEN PIZZA and extra cheese but NO EXTRA PEPPERONI unless one or two pieces of pepperoni per slice is EXTRA (THAT I PAID FOR) !!!! I don't usually have a problem at Donatos but there always a first time for everything!! I guess next time I'll go to Cassano's !!! Update 2: I've been ordering from this location again. The food has been consistently on time and extremely Delicious! Very pleased

I have ordered here MANY times in the past (I have lived here since 2010) It’s always been hit and miss on delivery time and overall quality. I could understand a couple of times over the years but the last few months have been an all time low. I’m currently waiting for a large thin crust pepperoni for over an hour and forty five minutes now with no pizza (45 min wait was estimated) This is our favorite pizza and unfortunately I don’t want to give them my business anymore. I’ve felt so disrespected as not only a paying customer but a long term customer. I’m tired of making phone calls and asking nicely where the pizza is every time I place an order. Sad day when I feel disrespected by a pizza joint.

EDIT: Just a little update. I received the pizza shortly after posting. It was cold and the cheese was hardened. I called and simply told the manager that the establishment used to be our favorite pizza place but I won’t be giving this place anymore of my business. The manager did apologize and was...

DELIVERY GUY YELLED AT ME!!!! I was at work and decided to get Donatos. I placed an order for delivery. I didn’t have cash so I paid with my card when I placed the order. It gave me the option to give a tip. I thought this would be better because I didn’t have any cash. So I gave a $4 tip. When the delivery guy came he handed me my receipt for me to sign. I drew a line through the tip part because I already tipped him. He got mad and started yelling at me about drawing a line through the tip. When I explain to him I had already paid the tip online when I paid for the ordered he started yelling at me telling me I didn’t. My coworkers and I were not only shocked but I was embarrassed and really upset. I told him again I did give him a tip. I paid for it when I paid for the pizza. He once again started yelling at me saying I did not. I signed the receipt and give it back to him. He just stood there holding my food. I gave him a motion to give me my food. After a second he finally handed my food over and stormed out. All I have to say is he is lucky I couldn’t take my tip back. After all that he really doesn’t...
