Dr Wings — Restaurant in Springfield

I’m from the east coast and I currently live in Bexley Oh near Columbus and now reside some of the time in Springfield , Oh . This is one of the few places I will eat in Springfield, fresh , hot , consistent, convenient, food cooked to order comes to mind when thinking of this establishment . Even if there were more choices like there are in Columbus, this would still be my destination because they have a far superior product that they put out . I have 8 picky children so the quality and price point are right , and there are never any leftovers. With such a large group, I order large pans and they are always accommodating. I'm hoping is was that they where having a bad day. I got the whole wings deep fried with garlic sauce. Mac& cheese, and side salad. I'm thinking they used Tabasco and power garlic for seasoning. Wasn't a fan of that. My wife got grilled fish, no blackened spice in house. All sides are $4.00 ea. That's more than Cracker Barrel. For a new mom & pops dinner the food didn't taste with no passion at all. I will definitely give them another chance though. The food was amazing. Hot and fresh! Ordered whiting and wings. The fish was big and fried to perfection. That dust of seasoning on all the food added the perfect finish. I was almost mad at the price for a side of coleslaw until I pulled this quart size container out of the bag, enough to feed two people. And yes the coleslaw was creamy and cold.
