McDonald's — Restaurant in Springfield

New kiosk for ordering take a number. not in favor of robot putting people out of work. Still all McDonald's nothing like they used to be value for product. This revamped one is cold and uninviting not sure why UPDATE: Mon. July 31 2023 It's late 10:30 pm ish young adults running the show. One car ahead at drive up. I personally don't go out to eat that often if Mickey Dees is what you'd call it. Attendant at window cordial and changed my order due to a wait on chicken burger of 7 mins. Then I waited that long for chicken nuggets that I was not sure a couple were cooked through. They were very hot though never had them actually hot. Found out when I got home they were cooked it was the very hot oil/ fat in them. My trouble is to the wait while young adults either standing in one place chatting until my order was done or running around staring at their phones. This is a place of work! Not where you put in your time to get paid for staring at your phone. A bit older adult looked like she was restocking things. The infamous "work smarter not harder" motto I hear a lot lately. Then there were a few cars getting in line. Young adults seemed upset to the thought of getting busy .Is the owner just glad to have the hours covered?. Yes the place does handle a drive...

Every time i order from the drive thru, they mess up my order. I've been parked and forgotten about at LEAST 3 separate occasions. One time i was at their third window for over 20 minutes, and had to honk my horn to remind them I was there. Someone then proceeded to ask WHY I was waiting. Today, i placed a mobile order for two iced coffees and gave them ample time before even leaving for the store, after standing and being ignored for nearly 5 minutes, I had to wait in line anyways to inform them I was waiting for my coffees. Which were done and out of sight the whole time. I'd say this place has gone downhill, but they hit rock bottom years ago and somehow keep digging further.

Updating, now it's been 4 times they've parked me and I had to call because they forgot about me. After I put in a mobile order 15 min before showing up...

Absolutely awful. I wouldn’t recommend. After countless times going there giving them many chances, they’ve messed up every time. Then I made a complaint on the phone sometime ago and all I got was a childish guy answer the phone giving me loads of bs. I would maybe consider a two star only if today they gave me a straw for my drink, put salt on the soggy old fries and didn’t load my cup with 90% ice. Another time, I had to wait for over half an hour for a medium fry and 2 large drinks. That doesn’t sound like fast food to me! Overall, poor customer service and mediocre food. Long complaint I know but this is the only time I’ve been able to tell them how I really feel without a greasy fry boy...
