Pete's Daily Food Jamaican cuisine — Restaurant in Springfield

Where to begin? My job takes me all over the USA 🇺🇸 and I'm always trying to find a Jamaican restaurant whichever state I go. I have been to many and yet this is the first time I chose to write a review. Pete's made this possible. The location is great, inside the restaurant is nice and very clean, customer service is top class, the food takes me back to Jamaica very flavorful, tasty, the best I've had so far, quantity is perfect. Authentic Jamaican comfort food. We wandered in within a couple hours of their closing time, so the selection was a bit limited, but the food we did get was excellent. The curry chicken wasn't crazy spicy and the meat was falling off the bone. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food we received, and the people working were very courteous. Good stuff! Rolled into Springfield for a short stay and wanted food quickly. A short walk from our AirBnB so we chose Pete's. The only reason it's only 4 stars is that the choices were a bit limited... But we got Jerk Chicken with rice & beans. Delicious flavors... Right at the top of my head tolerance, but oh, so tasty!
