Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Springfield

I arrived at Tim Hortons approximately 10:30 a.m. and I seen other patrons in the lobby and the doors were locked I noticed that the patrons inside were black and I am a white person I went back to my car and set there and waited a couple minutes hi then attempted to enter the lobby again doors were locked and there was also a very long line at the drive-thru so I was waiting to try to kill time for my appointment at the VA Clinic across the street I wanted to see what kind of donuts that they had on hand to take her to the Honey Dip glaze so I decided to go and wait in the very long line for the drive-thru I tempted to order my dipped glazed honey and was told sorry we don't have those two available at this moment and I told you I'm in this is why I wanted to come into the lobby so I can see what kind of donuts you have and I can make my decision preferably tahini dip and a cup of coffee so as I got up to the drive-thru window and I handed them my $2 for a Boston cream with chocolate on it I really didn't want to Boston cream with chocolate on it but I ordered it anyways and frustration and while the window was open I hollered out I guess I'm not the right color to come into your lobby and spend time in there and choose to donate that I really wanted and they said we're so sorry sir we only have three people in here and we can't have the lobby open and I told them well evidently I'm not the right color because I seen black people inside your lobby having coffee and donuts how pathetic in frustration and anger I drove off with my Boston cream and did not get my $0.75 change back from my $2 for a dollar twenty-five donut Westside I don't think I'll visit. Tim Hortons again even though I go to the VA across the street my experience there was horrifying oh well I guess that's the way...

I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews but after being disappointed time and time again I hope it can be beneficial. This location is truly awful. The employees are incredibly rude (except a dark haired young man usually at the window, he is very kind!) They make it seem like they don’t have any time to answer any sort of questions, only trying to get the customer out. In the past I’ve had an issue with mobile ordering 30 minutes before picking up because I knew it would take awhile, and still having to wait. Every single time, even when it was slow business. As well as every time I order an iced coffee it is usually never made correctly at all. I always wait to make sure my extras creams and sugars are rang up on the screen, but more times then others I don’t believe they read it when making it. This morning for example, I received two sausage breakfast sandwiches that were so cold the cheese wasn’t melted one bit as well as a Brown Butter cold brew with cold foam, that I ordered with 3 creams and 3 sugars with cold foam that when I got it had absolutely no cream or sugar, and for some reason they put whipped cream on top of it? I threw all of it away and wasted a fair amount of money for the last time. I always give this location a chance because of it’s convenience for me but I’m tired of paying too much money to not even get what I’ve ordered. I hope they employees can work on take their time to make sure the orders are correct, the food is warm and and they’re kind at the window and counter because I’m sure most of us don’t mind waiting a little longer to get our...

I’m not one to complain often even when it’s warranted. Every time I come to this location it’s hit or miss weather I get served what I ordered or I’m paying more money for the item I didn’t want. I ended up getting a refund today the first time I finally made a complaint after this happening several times. I always order an iced cap supreme and I either get handed an iced coffee or I get asked if I want the items in it that should be in it without me asking, hence “Ice Cap Supreme” such as whipped topping and the syrup. It’s aggravating because a medium mocha ice cap supreme costs four dollars and some change, just to be handed an iced coffee. At one time this location was very friendly and I enjoyed doing my business there. This is why i hesitated on making complaints before because the staff was always so pleasant. I don’t know the last time I’ve had a pleasant worker take my order and I’m don’t hoping for the correct item I ordered. Moving forward I’ll be taking my business to another location or go to star bucks where their service is...
