If i could give this place a zero for the worst customer service ever. My culture always complains about we don't support our own. Well, check out how you treat people first. You don't ever get that big and bad. When you think it's okay to say ignorant things to a customer. First of all i live in Dallas moved from STL 8 years ago. I still support my people when traveling back home. Never ever will i return to this establishment again. I spent $81.00 on the holiday for my son and myself. It was very hot and humid. Which is Normal if you're from STL. Fast forward asked the gentleman that had taken my order. Please sir make sure potato salad is on the side. I'm just funny about my food touching. The gentleman repeated my order to me. Everything on side right ma'am. I said yes he replied $81.00 . i paid the gentleman and waited about 35-40 minutes for order. This was okay as it was extremely crowded. Also, just wanted to support King Prince BBQ, i knew him before he became a successful business owner. Always was very nice and respectful . until Thursday July 4th. As they called my order i picked up my food. Got my order went outside to open the container and potato salad wasn't on the side for some of the food. I was very disappointed. I spoke with the owner. I explained to him i was very disappointed as the gentleman repeated my order everything on the side. I proceeded to explain to Prince. I didn't like my food to touch. He looked at me and replied. We try and stay away from people like you!!! I couldn't believe a business owner would say that to a customer. He went on to say what you expect me to do? He then rub salt on the wound by saying. Do you want your money back. At this point i was speechless. I'm like this isn't the person i knew. Speaking to a customer like that. I was like no problem. I'll just put my honest review and be done. Well, as i was telling other's my story while home. I couldn't believe the people that said they stopped supporting him for lack of customer service. I'll continue to support St. Louis Q on West Florissant and Goodfellow. King Prince won't get another coin from me.....
Read moreI’m only giving a 1….because I have to. First of all….it says OPEN (online)on Sundays AND HE’S NOT!!! SHOULD’VE BEEN A SIGN!!! I spent 25.00$ for a polish and wing plate. I wish I would’ve only spent the 8$ for the polish!!! I specifically asked him were the wings FRESH….meaning COOKED TODAY!!! I opened it up and immediately noticed the wings were discolored but disguised with sauce. HARD, BURNT, OLD and DRY!!!! I could definitely tell the difference because there were 2 fresh HOT ONES on the bottom!!!! Spaghetti NASTY!!! Over cooked fat mushy noodles NO FLAVOR AT ALL!!! So I returned the next day to order another polish because it was good, and tell him about his nasty food !!! I ordered polish but wanted the potato salad on the side. HE HAD THE NERVE TO SAY …..an extra 2.50$ for the container and labor …. just cancelled my order completely UM NO SIR!!!! You just robbed me yesterday of 15.00$ for 2 wings and potato salad …. I don’t want anything from you. Then he proceeds to come from behind the counter to tell me how much a container is !!!! Stopped him FAST ……I’m in the food industry I know exactly how much it really cost !!!! About 35cent!!!! However, this place won't ever be on my agenda ever again. I ordered ribs, rib tips, snoots, totaling a little over $80.00. I expected a long wait due to 4th of July holiday. However, what i wasn't expecting was the arrogant, disrespectful, and unwarranted poor customer service from the owner Prince. Informed him i asked that my potato salad and sauce be placed on the sides. I am really funny about my BBQ like that. I ordered it with everything in the side. I had spoken to Prince explaining what happened they didn't put everything on the side? His response was it all goes down the same way. I replied i don't like my food to touch that's why i order on the side. He said we try and stay away from people like you!!! I'm thinking this business owner didn't just say this to me. He knows I'm home visiting and as always chosen to support him. Then he looks at me very nasty and replied what you want your money back? I said excuse me I've stood in this heat for almost an hour.
