Daisy Mae's Dairy Barn — Restaurant in Stanton

Went in for a hot fudge sundae - medium hand-dipped with chocolate ice cream and exyra fudge. Supposed to cost $3.09. Paid $7.08. Did not get extra fudge - not very happy. Update: not having great success with my orders lately. Because we are so close and the burgers are so good, we are frequent customers. So far this summer we have been charged twice for the same order (once by card over phone, then also paid cash for the same order at pick up), twiced received the wrong order, had mustard added to a burger on which it was not requested and not wanted, and just tonight went in for a sundae and banana split - the split was supposed to have hand dipped ice cream but they goofed and used soft serve (which we just went with), but when we got home my husband discovered there is no banana! They did make the double pay right with us which we appreciate, but they desperately need...

Great food and good ice cream but the service is severely subpar (I don’t fault the employees though). The employees seem disorganized and stressed every time I’m there. Where is the manager managing them? If I order hot food takeout and a single ice cream and pay and am given the food but have to wait for five or more minutes for someone to make the ice cream because the worker goes to take the next order, sorry, this is not how a restaurant should operate. For the sake of the business and wages of the employees, the manager needs to manage; if they’re the one cooking, then hire a cashier to...

Decent, typical non-chain burger/ice cream shack. Nothing really elevates them above and beyond -- like, they're not making stuff from scratch or sourcing gourmet products. But, nothing detracts from the experience, either. Everything we've tried has been satisfying.

And, there's a nice city park behind their parking lot, which makes a nice place to take your hot dog/burger/ice cream and eat and let the kids play.

So, like, if you're heading through Stanton on M-66, definitely stop here instead of McDonald's across the street...but don't make a 2-hour pilgrimage just to...
