Pat's Thai Shabu is a star in the Stanwood dining scene!
On my first occasion I came with out of town family who were thrilled at the hot pot experience, as well as the experience of the indoor/outdoor dining available in the unbelievable shared courtyard inside the cinema complex. There is also traditional seating inside. The plates are reasonably priced and fresh, fresh, fresh!
Next, I popped in for a to-go order for a sick family member only to find beautiful live music filling the venue! The performer sat just out of the way and filled the dinning room with ambient music- what a talent as well! I had my order in minutes, along with some well wishes for my family member.
Last week I had some reading for classwork and popped in just at open to order some pho. I hate to say things like 'favorite', but there has to be exceptions, and Pat's has my favorite pho of the entire area. The flavor is so robust and well-rounded! This is my absolute number one suggestion from the menu.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The environment is family friendly and clean. I find the prices extremely reasonable, especially considering the portion size. We will be back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis restaurant is wonderful. The restaurant itself is very colorful, clean and inviting but as you walk in and look around youāll see big windows on the other side and through the windows is a big mural of an old town and itās really a pleasant experience. Itās actually the inside of a small mall with a movie Theator and 3 restaurants. The food was great! Good quality, great taste, good ingredients and a nice presentation too. Also the menu is diverse, they have all the Thai staples plus sushi and hot pot which to me is a breath of fresh air because after you eat Thai food like 5 days a week for years itās nice to have other options. They were fairly busy but still the food came out fast. Plus with all that the price was very reasonable too. Definitely check it out if youāre...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe dined in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and chose to sit inside as opposed to their dining area that extends into the theater entrance area. We started with the š dragon roll and the hot tea that the server/owner recommended, Japanese rice tea. The presentation of the roll was beautiful with a Japanese orchid and whatever else was drizzled on top and they were so kind to answer my questions about how to properly use the bowl spoon they provided us. It was so delicious! Then we shared Tom Ka soup, Yum Woon Sen salad and Korean beef Bulgogi. Everything tasted fantastic and everyone was really friendly. This was a lot of food and provided us with plenty to take home to enjoy another night. Weāll definitely be back. Iām super excited about the variety...
