Absolutely incredible tea room!

For my family the best tea house combines multiple elements to create the perfect experience.

Variety of teas--you need to have more than a few selections to choose from including different types of teas, from fruity to herbal to green to black and so on.

Delicious food--The tea is important, but you want to taste something amazing that requires chewing as well. After all, you need that to complement the tea.

Overall Ambience and Attention to Detail--it should look like a tea room, not a restaurant. There should be fun things to look at and the settings and accompaniments need to enhance the experience.

Well, The Team Room of Keystone Heights ticks all of these boxes and so much more!

There are so many varieties of teas, and you are not served your own pot, but your own tea choice, meaning they go around with the hot water pot to add to your cup but you can select ANY of the large selection of teas for each round. You are not "stuck" with just the one pot you selected at the start. I love this! The tea bag holders on the table and how the loose leaf teas are served is just exceptional. So much attention to detail!

The food was delicious! The menu may vary but we had a broccoli cheese soup that was absolute perfection, and the sandwiches are so tasty. My 15 year old son loved everything so much we asked if we could pay for an additional sandwich, but the lovely owner refused to take money and brought him extra sandwiches!

The house made scones were perfect as were the accompanying portions of jam and clotted cream.

There are many displays of tea pots and other fun knick knacks to look at, and the tea room itself is decorated with fun and whimsical signs and other wall hangings. There are a large selection of hats you can wear! Overall, it makes for a grand and exciting experience in addition to everything else.

And the owner is such a delight! She is so friendly and helpful. You can tell she has an absolute passion to deliver the best tea room experience possible. She cheerfully accommodated my wife's keto requirements by serving her sandwich fillings with peppers instead of bread!

Keystone Heights may be a little off the beaten path, and was an hour drive for us, but we can't wait to go back! Totally worth it.

There is also a lovely gift shop you need to explore, and plenty of parking.

Check them out soon and you will be so...

The Tea Room is an absolute delight, where one steps out of time and uses the imagination to spend time with friends and loved ones. Such an eloquent, magical, place! I met with our Hostess Jennifer initially, to make our reservation & discuss our special needs. Some in our party were gluten-free and did not partake of pork. Jennifer was most accommodating serving all of our desserts and pastries gluten-free and pork free. The food was artfully displayed on beautiful towers. Our smallest guest, celebrating a birthday had been only mentioned to Jennifer previously. On the day we arrived, we were taken to our beautiful table which had been set up near Life-Sized dolls that were dressed like princesses. Our little girls were absolutely delighted, as we too had all dressed up for the occasion. Beautiful hats for each one of us to wear during our time had been placed in each chair. Somehow, magically they suited each of us! What fun we had with our hats as we enjoyed our tea party! From PB&J finger sandwiches for the girls, to gluten-free crackers and sweet treats, delicious spreads, of jam, egg salad, pimento cheese, fruits and my personal favorite, blueberry scones, all artfully displayed on beautiful towers. We couldn't have been more delighted. At the end of our meal Jennifer brought our Birthday girl a sweet little Strawberry Shortcake with candles & a special Birthday hat. We sang Happy Birthday and with shear delight, the entire room joined in! ♥️ We finished our meal & were invited to the private party room, which is for more intimate gatherings. No one was there at the time so we were allowed to go in and take photographs. The room is beautifully set up with wall coverings that have pictures like the Eiffel Tower in Paris, with the cherry blossom trees all around. What a beautiful backdrop it was for our family photoshoot. Last but not least we ended the adventure by visiting the gift shop. There were loads of props with a beautiful princess chair along with tiaras, long gloves and costume jewelry with even more hats! We were in 7th Heaven. Our family highly recommends this place for an intimate, special family experience or just a getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! You won't be sorry, I...

My husband and I had a marvelous time at The Tea Room. Mrs. Jennifer, the owner is an excellent host. She made us feel so welcomed in her establishment. I wanted to surprise my husband with an amazing tea room date experience as "real men enjoy 'tea time too'" 😅 Although we reside in Fleming Island, we did not mind driving to Keystone to have this experience that left us feeling 'we are back overseas.' I should have taken more pictures but I was enjoying the experience. My husband's favorite tea so far, is the Mango Passion and he said he enjoyed the Alice in Wonderland motif. All the food was very good.

What I liked about The Tea Room from a previous tearoom I visited is that, the food is fresh, and actually prepared right there on location. Yall, the sconesssssss (fresh out of the oven), the sandwiches, the different teas and I can go on and on however this review will be longer but that's just to name a few of the freshly prepared food.

We were able to sample some of the finest teas we have ever tasted and some we did not think about tasting and glad we did. At the previous tearooms I visited they poured the tea for me, I could not choose what type of tea 'flavor' I wanted just the caffeine or no caffeine type. I can't tell you all enough about how a treat this lunch date with my hubby was. We left full!! Full from the amazing food, yummy teas and excellent conversations. There is a wonderful gift shop for purchasing neat gifts, teas, souvenirs, etc. We will definitely be back as The Tea Room is worth the drive. Customer service was on point. Support, support, support, small businesses. This is a great hidden gem find in...
