A and Dub is a few miles away, about 20 miles away. But it is worth the drive. We park on the opposite side of the dining area, and enter the handicap access door, walk the hall and go in to the dining area. This is also a work area where staff are crossing to and fro to deliver drive up orders thru the window. They ALWAYS stop and let the customers get by when we're walking the hall, also they'll stop what they're doing and open the door for us when we're leaving. The wait staff (only need wait staff at one table which has no phone, all other tables have phones to call the order on. I prefer the one table without because of location and place to leave the walker right by me. Also, am hard of hearing, which makes the phone hard to use. The food was great - we had a variety between us, soup, fish without the chips, cheese curds instead, and a papa burger and fries. I have to restrict eating potatoes because of the potassium, but I switch and have either cheese curds or onion rings. Yummy. My son had a root beer float, my DIL had a new drink they were offering, and I stuck to coffee. The bill came at the right time, the server brought needed items with a smile. Great place lots of...
Read moreThis is one of the last two A&W drive-ins in Oregon (the other is in Sweet Home) where you can still park and order from your car. That said, we usually eat inside in one of the large booths in the back. From the inside booths you place your order via an intercom phone. Our kids love the place, especially in warm weather as there is an outdoor play area out back. A negative are the single-occupancy restrooms - you can be in for a wait when the restaurant is full. The menu is large with choices that include burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and a large selection of various ice cream desserts and smoothies. Currently they serve all-you-can-eat shrimp dinner on Fridays and breakfast is served daily. We placed our usual family order: Five Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger combination meals, which is an ongoing "special" that includes a burger, fries and a drink for $3.99. We like to substitute for the drinks by ordering milkshakes, freezes, smoothies, etc. As usual, the service and food was good. The burgers are not gourmet - I would say they are most similar to what you find at Dairy Queen. This is our favorite area fast food restaurant as visiting is just a good experience...
Read moreThis place used to be way better. Food has definitely gone down hill & gotten more expensive. They patties are not even the same size. They have downsized the food & charge more for less. & the quality is questionable as well. I can say this bcuz I used to work there before the NEW OWNERS took over. When I worked there is was simple.... Would you eat that??? NO, then why would you expect your customers to WANT to eat it???. Drive thru got their food 1 minute after arriving @ the WINDOW, & table orders within 4 minutes. Hahahaha that sure doesn't happen any more. Nothing fast about this place. And if it is check it. I cannot tell you how many times I've gone to this place in ordered a plain burger just meat nothing else. No lettuce, no mayo, NO CHEESE. Just bun, burger & bacon. NOPE THE ALWAYS MESS IT UP. For example; every time they put cheese on it. I do mean every time I have even said when ordering it NO CHEESE!!!!. JUST MEAT & BUN NOTHING ELSE!!!!!. BUT NO EVERY TIME THEY PUT CHEESE ON IT. like seriously how much easier can I make an order nothing on it @ all. But NO it's way to...
