I attended this gym for many years. Over six. The gym is next to a bar full of drunks, and the parking lot is full of meth use and dealing. The owner never responded to my issues or complaints over text. Never responded to me telling her I was attacked in front of her gym. Zero response, you can tell I was just a pain in her side. I was attacked directly in front of this gym, and instead of helping me, they canceled my membership on me for no reason. They would not provide me with a reason, and I had to make a deal out of getting my owed money back. I never received my last referral bonus. They clearly viewed me as a liability and simply expendable. Perhaps they are making too much $$, if the paying customers safety no longer matters. In fact, it never did matter. This gym had a homeless meth addict sleeping (living) directly in front of the gym on the sidewalk for over ten months. I was being asked by female gym goers to walk them out, they did not feel safe. I complained to the gym numerous times and they did nothing to help. I ended up having to go to the Stayton city council myself, in order to get the safety issue resolved. The owner has her number listed for help but never bothers to respond, what is that? This anytime fitness is much more expensive vs any of the other independent owned anytime fitness clubs. They only heat and cool, half of the gym. The gym is split into two sides, and the one side is always freezing or blasted hot. Every time there is a season change, it's always extremely hot or extremely cold for a week or two until someone can change the thermostat. The gym manager does not have permission to switch from heat to cool. Embarrassing for the money spent and something I've never had an issue with at other gyms. For anyone wondering, the club comes out to $60+ monthly. The anytime fitness in Lebanon is roughly half the price. My other two gym memberships are both half the price as well, with no contract. Honestly for the amount of money I have paid over the years, they could care less about you as an individual. The "trainer" glares at me in challenge, never said hello, never smiled. I had a ok experience in here until I was attacked. For the two weeks following being assaulted walking in their gym, I was treated with a obvious cold shoulder by club manager Candy, which led up to be being locked out and removed over the phone. 700 bucks a year gets you treated like a thorn. I have spent thousands here over the years, if only I would have known. I am excited to follow up with corporate. Thanks for...
Read moreThis place is horrible, overpriced, and has an extremely predatory contract. The equipment is broken or out of order frequently. The so called office manager has posted literally DOZENS of signs that are super passive aggressive, insulting, and just flat out incorrect in some cases. The front door has signs, the walls have signs, the treadmills have signs, the machines have signs, the mirrors are covered in signs, there's signs by the free weights, and the racks, there signs on the bathroom door, behind the toilet next to the sink, on the mirror for the sink, next to the mirror for the sink, on the back of the bathroom door. I could go on and on. They're literally plastered to seemingly every flat surface and they're all telling you what to do, what not to do or threatening to cancel your contract. I'm paying nearly $60/month I expect to be treated with at least a minimal amount of respect and courtes. The parking lot is next to a bar and at least at night there's drunk people and drug users in the parking lot and someone attempted to break into my car once. There are also people who just sit front of the gym at stare at you when you're working out at night. I haven't been physically assaulted or anything but it's creepy. The biggest issue though it is feels like the office manager has something against fit in shape people. She will look for any excuse to limit workouts or threaten to terminate your contract. I'm not talking about things that are dangerous or disruptive, but things that are normal proper and intended use of equipment. Almost every machine has a sign near it saying how using it like this or that or your contract will be terminated. We even got a gym wide email once saying people were sweating too much, not that they weren't cleaning up after their sweat mind you, simply that it gross and disrespectful to sweat. In a gym. Absolutely ridiculous. I see why they make you sign a contract because I would have been out of...
Read moreWhen I went to sign up yesterday, the manager was very friendly and she strongly insisted that we clean our equipment before and after. I liked that. She communicated with the members she came in contact with to make sure they were happy. She was very energetic, though, and the tour was quicker than I needed. Being old and never using the high-tech equipment, I'm a little nervous to go try. But, that is a very small point. Gym was well stocked, organized and...
