House of Chan — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

I've been going to this place for several years never had a problem but we haven't been there much because they close down the dining room and just not the same you know we like to go inside and eat and make it a thing for our kids having said that I've ordered carry out multiple times in the last year today was the worst I've ever had it. The beef in my beef lo mein tasted old smelled old and definitely was old. The chicken in my sesame chicken was dry Right I know it's loaded with all the gummy stuff and try to breading on it and it was probably deep fry her baked or something but it was dry when you ate it just turn into like dry mush in your mouth it was disgusting unedible The egg roll which I was excited cuz I said well they can't screw that up The bottom overhead grease in it on it it had no flavor at all and egg roll with no flavor how can it possibly happen? it did! I'm so disappointed I don't even know what to say anymore obviously there's a different chef there and someone's not managing the kitchen very well because if you have old food and there it's a problem especially at a high volume restaurant. Our other two favorite Chinese restaurants are Kim toa, 10 Mile road and Hoover Warren Michigan. And the other one is Ruby's on 14 Mile road and schoenherr Warren Michigan. I’m all about trying new places to eat. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose... This made me think twice about wanting to try new places.This had to be the worst Chinese food I’ve ever ate in my entire life.. I am not exaggerating in the least bit. The almond chicken was hard and dry. The dinner rolls were shriveled and soggy. The beef and broccoli was a two dollar up charge because of the rising price of beef. Why the up charge? There’s no way possible that, that was beef. We ordered an extra soup with the wanton soup that came with the dinner for two. They gave us the small egg drop and not the wonton. No fried noodles with the soup and to top it all off OUR TOTAL WAS $35 DOLLARS!!!! I wouldn’t have paid 35 cents and I’m not joking!!! Save yourself the money, headache and and disappointment you feel, when you pay your money expecting a good meal and go away unsatisfied and hungry because you cant eat the food...

I would never in my life eat at an establishment that displays poor customer service & bias judgmental characteristics. Upon entering to retrieve a door dash order an employee walked passed me staring but refused to say anything. There was another female employee behind the register that didn’t acknowledge my existence either so I stated that I would run to the restroom. When I went back to the front counter I asked for my order and showed the customers name, at that time I was told to confirm the order. I confirmed the order then showed the employee and grabbed the order. The employee then snatched the bag from my hand and said that I must confirm the order. I stated that I showed you proof that the order was confirmed and showed her my screen again and she said well she didn’t see the first time even though that was her reasoning for placing the bag in front of me because I initially confirmed.
