Green Lantern Pizza — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Terrible. Things began well with the table ready for our reservation and initial drinks immediately served. The food order was taken after a 20 + minute wait and following a request to the hostess to find our waitress. The food for 8 out of 10 of us arrived... my husband's and mine did not. Our server arrived and asked about our food, I reminded her that we ordered a large square pizza with bacon and yellow peppers. She glanced down the table at my brother and sister-in-laws order which was a medium round with pepperoni and yellow peppers and frowned. Having worked in the business I recognized our order had been overlooked upon entry. The server said she would be right back and did return saying the kitchen had made an error and our pizza had JUST been placed in the oven. She was aware that our group was there for a birthday party for my father-in-law and had reservations for an event following dinner. She did not offer us an alternative to waiting 40 minutes for a pizza and then proceeded to avoid the table for over 30 minutes. My husband requested the hostess to please send over the manager. 10 minutes later he arrived to advise us he was aware of the missing pizza. He stated that it would be another 10 + minutes before the pizza would be finished. He the looked at his watch and said "You don't need to leave until 8:30 though". As if my husband and I should have been satisfied with 15 minutes to scarf down a slice or two before we had to run out the door. Regardless of the timeline we were now eating alone and placed in a rush. I explained that it was unprofessional for him to have known about the situation and only have visited our table upon request. I pointed out that every single person at the table needed a refill and that the server had intentionally avoided our table since the error. My husband explained we would not be paying for the pizza and the manager agreed - he did however charge us $6.75 for a coffee and a Diet Coke (no refills on soda). The manager was unprofessional and arrogant. The server was either inexperienced and should have had guidance or assistance or she should find another line of business. Not worth the hassle when there are so many other pizza...

Came here at approximately 06:56 pm. We walked inside and were behind a large group of 11 people. We got seated first but only because they wanted a rectangle table setup. Our server asked us for drinks by 07:09 pm. By 07:12 pm we had our drinks and placed our orders right after. By 07:20 we had our appetizers out and we're awaiting the main course. At 07:26 pm we had our pizzas done. Our server did a good job overall but drink cups kept cluttering the table. I guess getting rid of drink cups is done by someone else. By the end of eating we had 11 drinks cups on the table. I'm not sure why it is done this way. They get in the way. By 7:36 we finished eating and had a box brought out by 07:40 pm. Overall the food is great, not awesome but super great. This place is busy at this hour so good luck finding a chair. Even the bar had been filled. When we visited the outdoor seating area was shut down. The place seems clean as the bathrooms didn't have any offensive odors. The doors looked a little greasy as expected and the servers do clean up the tables and chairs. However the floors still have debris on them. You can tell this gets done later on so you might have crumbs on your shoes when you leave. No sticky tables.

The food itself tastes like it came mostly from packages. The salads are fresh for the most part but the sauces definitely aren't made fresh here. You can taste the salt. The barbeque chicken is definitely from a frozen pack. The dough is also frozen upon arrival to the store. You can tell right away. Everything is baked fresh but everything comes frozen besides the salads. I would say the salads also come from a pack but they are sliced unevenly. Tells me they are made with fresh ingredients.

Overall I liked it here but I do wish the dough was made fresh. You can tell with how...

My husband ordered online for a carry out tonight. We ordered Tommy's Tantalizing round pizza and added pineapples and onions. We also ordered a Mushroom and Swiss burger, Medium Rare with mayonnaise, tomatoes, onions and we couldn't find the option to add ketchup as well.

He picked it up and brought it home. He read off the order sticker on the plastic bag that the Mushroom and Swiss came in and it was everything that I requested. We quickly found out that what you read and what you get are two totally different things

I opened the container and there was NO mayonnaise but instead there was lettuce hidden under the hamburger patties which I pulled out and tossed aside. I thought it was strange that the onions and the tomatoes were on the side but they hid the lettuce which I didn't request under my patties. ???

It wasn't medium rare but more medium to medium well done. The two hamburger patties were thin that I wondered if they could even do medium rare.

The mushrooms didn't taste like portobello mushrooms but like canned mushrooms with large stems.

They didn't specify what type of onions they use and I figured that since they put white onions on the pizzas, they would do the same for the burgers. Wrong! I was given red onions. I didn't care for red onions on my burgers. They should let it be known they use red onions for burgers or give you the option of what kind of onions you prefer when you're ordering online.

The side of fries was plain and not seasoned, warm and not hot. We only live 2.5 miles away from this place. My husband left as soon as he placed the order online.

I will not order their burgers...
