Subway — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

This is the most asinine Subway I have ever been to and it’s not even a close call. I don’t even know why they stay open because the owners clearly have no interest in running a quality store. I already always order the simplest thing possible to avoid mess ups and confusion, but they manage to mess the order up every time anyhow. FOOTLONG TURKEY ON WHEAT AMERICAN CHEESE AND LETTUCE. Thats it! I put my own condiments on at home purely to avoid them forgetting to put them on or putting the wrong condiments on the wrong order. When they’re not jacking up your order six ways from Sunday, they’re out of product. Just today, I ordered my turkey sub on wheat. I placed my order online five hours before their scheduled closing time. The first thing she tells me when I walk in to pick it up is that the wheat bread is “harder than usual today” and suggests I select a different type of bread. Then when I ask for extra lettuce, she says they are out of lettuce. I don’t know how you plan on making Subway sandwiches without lettuce for the next five hours. There’s a Walmart a half block away. Go buy some shredded lettuce for your ridiculous store. Or, better yet, retire from the Subway business altogether

Next, when I ask where the cheddar sunchips are that I ordered she says they are out of those. The previous customer ahead of me had to be told the cookies she ordered were out of stock. This place is so terribly managed and staffed that it seems intentional. Like somebody who is spiteful towards humans decided to open a Subway restaurant specifically so they could be completely incompetent and irritate the hell out of the neighborhood just for the fun of it....

It is always a pleasure working with Mary to make the best sub ever! I am only in the area once every few months or so for work and I always stop at this Subway because of Mary. Mary knows what she is doing and she is always the sweetest. She even advises me on what options to get . Subway was my first job 8 or so years ago so the way the business runs has definitely changed but Mary makes me feel like I am trying a sub for the very first time each and every time I bite into one she has made for me. The veggies are always fresh, my meat and bread are always toasted and warmed to perfection, and Mary layers all of my options on beautifully. I admit, my options can make my sub messy but only a true sandwich artist like Mary can avoid that. Thank you so much Mary! Subway is...

I bought 2 foot-long subs here for lunch today. The meatball marinara sub was OK although the bread was obviously not fresh The crust was hard and crumbly in spots. The Rotissere-Style chicken sub was TERRIBLE. The entire roll was dry, like it had set out for at least all day today and possibly longer. There were only a very few small pieces of chicken in the sandwich. In fact, my wife originally thought that she had received a vegetarian sandwich by mistake. She said the vegetables had a slimy texture and taste. She dicarded most of them.

We had placed our order through the app, and took the sandwiches home to eat. Had I opened them at the store I definitely would have returned them for a refund.

I will NOT be going back to this...
