Horrible customer service. We called around 520pm for two pizzas and mostacholi. Waited until 7pm to call and find out where our food was. When my husband placed the order he stated it was for delivery and provided our address. When we called to find out where our food was the manager who answered, she said her name was Nancy got on the line. My husband asked where our food was. It took a bit with no apologies and she stated the order had been sitting there waiting for pick up/carry out. My husband stated he requested delivery and even gave our address as I heard him calling the order in. I spoke in on the conversation and asked how her customer service was. She stated we could replace the order. I knew it would take more than one hour to get delivered and explained we have three young children who were waiting on their food and needed to get to bed soon. I also explained I was out of town all week for work and just came home. She did not apologize nor provide to assist in offering a coupon or something to make our bad experience better. She placed us on hold. After 6 minutes she got back on the line and said thank you for calling Angelo's how may I help you as if she was answering another phone call. I asked her how her customer service was and explained to her that she should not answer the phone that way with someone on hold waiting for her to respond. She asked me how she should have responded and I told her she should have said thank you for holding I am sorry for your wait and here is what I am going to do to fix the issue for you. I should not have to tell the manager how to do her job as she stated she has been there for 25 years. I have been in customer service for that length of time and how she responded was inappropriate and unprofessional. I am so disappointed with our service. This is the first time we have ever had an issue with Angelo's delivery. I don't know if it is poor training on Angelo's side or lack of follow up with management to ensure customer satisfaction is up to par , but I don't think I will be a return customer after this. I have never in my 35 years of going to Angelo's or delivery had issues like this. My family and I were true customers until this instance. Read moreTerrible product now days! The quality of the food for the price you pay is awful! I ordered a BLT pizza and the first thing we noticed was the lid was smashed, opened the box and all the mayo and tomatoes were stuck to the lid, then noticed the lettuce was SO wilted and slimey we couldn't even eat it due to complete disgust! We also ordered Italian cheeseburgers with everything on them and sauce on the side... unwrapped the sandwich to find a mess, the toppings were laying in the wrapper and the cup of sauce has gotten smaller. Really Angelo's... with the money you make, you have to continue to raise your prices but yet the quantity and quality of your product continues to decline? My suggestion is you be selective with your employees and employee people that enjoy the customer service/food business and take some pride in their work. I think it's more intended for a carryout or delivery service. We ended up eating inside. Nothing special about it. Nothing too terrible either. However, the food was not enjoyable. We ended up throwing our meals away and continuing on without food. Maybe better descriptions of their items may help. However, sausage takes over absolutely everything. Neither of us cared for sausage and did not anticipate that. That is partially our fault for not asking for clarification about the ingredients for the food.
