Primo’s Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Sterling

We posted a review a couple of weeks ago and they removed it cause it did not make them look good. We ordered a half of chicken and chicken strips. The strips were so over done you couldn't even chew them. The chicken was more like pigeon it was so small and way over cooked also. We were told they'd return our money. A half an hour later, after we threw it away, we got a call saying we needed to bring it back. $30 dollars for chicken strips and a half a chicken that was not edible. We'll never go back. I'm from Des Moines, in town visiting family. We were looking for a place to eat at 8:30pm. We were going to visit A's Kitchen in Rock Falls because it was close to our location. But A's closes at 9pm. So we chose Primos as their Google profile shows they are open until 11pm. Our entire group between 5 different cars drove to Sterling to eat at Primos. We came in after a long day of working and it was a great place to eat and our service was exceptional. Our waitress was on top of service for us and our food was perfect. Avocado Burger, salad bar and onion rings ( my meal) was really yummy. Their soup this evening, beef barely, was really good (husband had 3 bowls, 🤫). We will be coming back!
