Well Colleen, thank you for your patience just doesn't work when one sits for over 30 minutes waiting to be greeted. We gave you our name and you asked us to come back 30 minutes later because you were so busy, yet half of the tables were empty of guests. So we did; and you sat us inside like we asked and brought us a bread basket. At this point we should have know it was going to be bad, I have seen crutons larger then the scraps of bread you served us. You told us our server would be right with us. We sat and sat with no one helping us. There was around 10 tables inside and only 2 tables had people at them, and one was us. After 30 minutes we descided with our 2 young children we could not wait any longer to be waited on; and stood up to leave when Colleen came back over and said Thank you for your patience. Ther is something seriously wrong with that woman. When we explained no one even said hi to us, let alone get us water; she repeated, thank you for your patience again. When asked about it, the server said, "Oh, we don't have those." You think they could have said that before we ordered? Who does that? Who serves food and doesn't tell you they're missing key ingredients on the menu?
The BLAT was bad. So plain, on small pieces of bread like English muffins, with hardly anything to really call a sandwich. The "sandwich" came with very little on it. In fact, 2 of us ordered the BLAT and didn't finish the meal. Yes, it was that disappointing.
Three of us went hoping to have a nice day around the area and made this a point to have lunch.
We will...
Read moreVery cute place, and the bread made here is used in the neighboring restaurants sandwiches. I ordered a cheesecake kolach which absolutely delicious. I will say the storefront is a bit cramped so I recommend grabbing your things to go and not lingering. There is plenty of outdoor seating, which again is kind of shared with the restaurant Hop Dish & Vine.
Service was good, like many small places it’s preferred to pay cash so keep that in mind. Lots of drinks if you’re a coffee/tea person. Glad we made a point to stop here before we...
