Decided to go here yesterday (Sunday afternoon) and had a very bad experience. The food was ok Pancit was delish but the Lumpias were under seasoned, bland and stuffed with more vegetables than meat. As me and my party walked in, we were not greeted and had to seat ourselves as well as help ourselves to our own menus. The waitress was apparently having her lunch and the other woman..... Maurice (she was a woman but gave me this name when I asked) finally helped take our order as I had to walk into the kitchen to get some attention. This was my first time dining there and I definitely would not go back nor recommend it. I almost would have gave it another chance had it not been for that fact that she never checked on us during the whole time eating except to give us the bill. When we were ready to pay another woman whom had been waiting for a significant amount of time had raised her voice as Maurice walked right past her asking when she would be greeted or helped. As she also had the same issue we had. It's nice to be appreciated as a patron of a business when we choose to dine at your business, please try to care about...
Read moreAll the Filipino people I know and work with all go here , so that has to mean something . If you’ve never eaten Filipino food your missing out on great good and a proud people that take pride in their food and culture . As a non Filipino I always enjoy going here . There is lumpia that is kinda like a small “ egg roll “ You can order many classical Filipino foods here that I have eaten the same dishes made by Filipino families and the dishes they prepare here at the same in flavor and style . Don’t get more authentic than that . I will return here many times I’m sure . The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean . The only one thing I would advise on is that it must take some time to prepare Filipino food cause the wait times are a little long but worth the wait if you are dining in . Take out is always easy with a call in order . They do offer catering sizes orders , many they want you to place at least a day ahead . Yummy is...
Read moreFull disclosure - I have had home made Filipino food and that is what I compare other Filipino food to. Everyone's taste buds are different. That being said...(1) the service was chaotic. Everyone was doing everyone's job thus causing issues with orders, dine-in and people who were visiting for the first time. Each employee who have a defined job responsibility.(2) Find another place to store the take-out/pick-up food. It takes up space that is needed. Let's get to the food. The lumpia was good, not the best, but good. The pieces I had had too much carrot - thus the lumpia was sweet. Their adobo pork meat was not as tender and the sauce was runny and lacked flavor. The pancit was good. The rice was great! I did like their combo plates came with rice, pancit, adobo (pork or chicken) and lumpia. i know Best Lumpia has been there for quite some time, but every so often, taste the food to make sure you're...
