Shakes at the lake — Restaurant in Stokes Township

Took about 3 minutes to get my order in for 2 single scoops, 1 double scoop, and 1 shake. Took about 20 minutes to get my order. Ridiculous. One of the guys making something in a cup made multiple stops at multiple stations, stopping and talking to fellow workers in between each stop. Didn't seem to care that there were people waiting 20 minutes for some simple ice cream.

I recommend not having 1 person flying through orders while the 2 others aren't keeping up. Have each worker take an order, and make it, then take another order. More people making orders, and less people waiting.

When I finally got my order, the shake was very thin and had a very faint amount of flavor. What a waste of time.

The hard dip was fine, except the single scoops for my kids (which were huge) were bigger than the double scoop for my wife.

The ice cream is great but the food is very blah. The Philly cheesesteak is $10 and you would think you will get more than a 5” piece of bread full of dry meat. It had flavor but could not get past the dryness and how expensive it was for such a small sub. EDIT Went back for a shake, and my shake and my wife's shake both tasted spoiled. Maybe expired milk in it or something. Accidents happen so i understand. Usually the ice cream is amazing so I do not hold that one time...

Oh MY !!!! We could not figure out why this place always had a long line! It’s because it was delicious actual hand dipped ice cream and not the soft serve fake. Many many options and flavors. Underrated Sundaes and shakes were so cold and creamy you need a spoon for both.

Food truck is right beside and apparently the food options are plentiful!

Very reasonably priced and highly recommended! Wish they were open later for our evening craving...
