Another first for me. It was an okay experience. Nothing spectacular to speak of. Only eventful thing is my friend's car got damaged during what appears to be an attempted break-in. She was parked in an area next to the building that was poorly lit. They need better lighting or security to patrol parking area. Considering what it will cost my friend to fix her car, so not worth the outing. I'm just saying, I got issues. What about you?)i(
6/17/2023 attended Twisted Spritz Atlanta. I was hopeful it would be great. So much so that I got there a little after 5pm. First person there and they were still setting up. Stuck around for about 4 hours because I was meeting friends. After about an hour people slowly trickled in. Music was nice but my feet ached from standing so long. Limited seating available for VIP guests only. Drinks and food were pricey and the promoter constantly announced for people to tip bar attendants, servers, and food servers. Surely he knows tipping is optional based on service received right?
This seems to be the thing about these type Caribbean festivities. You pay $35 - $50 (sometimes more) just for the privilege to get into the venue. Then the drinks and food is pricy and you have to pay for a table if you don't want to hold your drinks or food in your hands. After hanging out for a bit I opted to go home to make dinner and watch Netflix.
Seems like these events would be better attended and enjoyable if prices were set reasonably. Can't help but think the organizer prices things to make a profit off the few that show up rather than factoring how much more they can make if they kept everything reasonable and increased attendance. Not only that, if they did price things reasonably people would happily tip. I know I would. Don't think I will be attending any more of these functions because I don't get my money's worth and I come away feeling like I just wasted my time and money. I'm just saying, I got issues. What...
Read moreUPDATE BELOW! UGH I really wanted to like this place! It's a wonderful sized building! Parking is $10-20. Admission after hours $20 for ladies. Not sure if there are different prices because it was myself and another lady..They are strict on ID's! I'm in my 40's but hey!! We went around 3am on a Friday not Thursday going into Friday but Friday night going into Saturday morning. Security kept saying that Saturday's are really the shiznik! Security was great except for the short lady at the front door! I think she had little ugly people syndrome going on that night! Her breathe was not tolerable as well! They had strippers but the men look more appealing and they were almost intolerable as well! Just saying! The music was awful! Each song played for 45 seconds! Count it if you don't believe me! Drinks are better if a male orders it! Hatin barsplenders! Just saying! Im not obsessed with my looks but I was the only sexy cutie in there...find me if you don't believe me! They had food.. My lady ordered mozzarella sticks, i didn't taste them but she tore them up! Overall if this were the last resort, I'd go! Security was the best for me! Men in there are cool but some a little rowdy! UPDATE- this place has been closed since then! Went there for Memorial Weekend and they were closed as if they've...
