I've been seeing some hype about this place so I decided to try it with my two granddaughters. They love macaroni and cheese so that was a must for ordering. We ordered the sausage plate which came with two sausages in buns with two sides for roughly $18. the sausage was good but I wish it would look more like it was grilled, with maybe some sear marks or maybe a little charred. My sausage did not look like the sausage I saw on Therealfood stalker Tik Tok video. You can see from my picture that just looks like some boiled sausage. His looked like it actually came off of a grill. They also give you a cup of BBQ sauce. So they really just tasted like smoked sausage that was pan fried or boiled on the stove top The best thing was the macaroni and cheese for my girls... they loved it. The baked beans are very sweet and good if you like them like that. I like mine with more of a smoky grilled taste.

And they may want to consider another location. It was in the 80s on Sunday when we stopped in, and the facility is very small, so we stood in line behind three people waiting for order pickup, and it was very hot inside. Everybody coming in after us said the same thing about how hot it was. One lady behind me propped the door open but of course there was no air flowing. We went back to the car in some air conditioning to wait for our order.

I will say that the young lady taking the orders was very professional...

I paid 58.90 for two Rib plates an only got ribs on one plate. This really disappointed me dearly... i was going to do a great review on this food.. but now I have one rib plate I can do it now.. Ok, I'm heading back now in a lyft, be there in a few, apologize for the post, I didn't hit post yet, but it did go in after I closed it out to answer my phone. But I will redo it now. Again I apologize. Now that I have tasted the food, I say it was ok, but not the best barbecue in Georgia. Video and pictures, but let start here, had to find a ride to the place , got there, grabbed my food, gotten all the way home, a order of ribs missing, I started to do a review on the place , the owner hits me up and upset about my review, I didn't get to see his response but let's say he wasn't happy, but the lady at the counter was most polite, gracious cashier i have ever seen,, so i proceed to let her know what happened . The owner suspected me of lying, but said that he didn't say that I was, but anywho, I finally gotten my food corrected, and he did throw in some extra ribs for the mishap, all that for some good ribs, and they weren't really all that good.. $59.26, plus my uber 17.00, plus uber back for$17.00 to correct my food, then go back home and try the food for the first time, nah I will not.... thanks but no thanks.i will keep eating...

I REALLY wanted to love this place; I really did. However, the food in my opinion is just decent. I had the small rib plate with green beans / mac&cheese. Upon my arrival to the shack, I could smell no BBQ being cooked! There was no smoke, no fire from any grills… nothing! Anyone who KNOWS BBQ, knows that you should smell it a mile before your arrival! I could only pick up the scent of BBQ once I was INSIDE of the shack! I asked the nice lady at the cashier straight up if they grilled or baked and she said matter of factly that they Never BAKE anything at their business. Yet, when I received my ribs, I KNEW that they were seared for a couple minutes on a grill and then put in the oven to finish off! Which left the ribs lacking substance and for the most part flavorless, except for the very top coating of the rib!! You could easily tell that they do not marinate the ribs… the only flavor was at the top. NO flavor ALL the way THROUGH the bone of the rib!! The Mac was just okay and the green beans were canned but seasoned very well. Being that I’m sure they don’t cook their ribs on the grill from Raw to FINISH, I won’t be back. But for those of you who like it, please support the black...
