Malarky's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Storm Lake

As one of approx 500 RAGBRAI riders trying to sleep tonight at 1030 that are sadly within earshot of Malarkey, the extremely loud and obnoxious noise blasting from that place, since 1 pm this afternoon, makes it impossible to sleep for the ride tomorrow. I regret that this town was awarded the overnight stop since even a call to the police only yielded the answer, "they were given an exception to law to allow them to play well into the night". From the time we got there until we got our food, we were there for an hour and a half. When our food came, 3/10 orders were completely wrong and 2 more were cold. When we had waited 45 mins since our order had been placed for our food, we asked the manager the status (to make sure our order was being worked on) and his only comment was “yeah it’s been a busy night” with no apology for the wait. In town and and we got a bunch of pickup dinners from the tenderloin to a kids spaghetti meal. Everything was very well done and no complaints. I went in to get the food and it was super cool inside. My dad if he was alive would be there every weekend. This covid is ruining everything. The tenderloin was legit but a little to thick for me but not complaining.
