Mr. Chef's Restaurant — Restaurant in Stoughton

We ordered delivery at 4:20 pm and by 6pm we called to ask about our order and was told it was delivered 30 minutes ago. We were never notified that the food was delivered. By the time we got it, it had been sitting at our door and was cold. We called to ask for a credit for our inconvenience and was told that they needed to talk to manager. We were offered a 30% credit on next order. We felt that we should be compensated for our cold food. The staff that answered told us it wasn't her problem and that the food was delivered. That door dash delivered our food on time. Our food was not ordered or delivered by door dash. After trying to rectify the situation we were asked to return food and they would redeliver new food. We were not able to wait any additional time. The owner called us back and argued with us for 45 minutes that we were stealing from her and was irate that we wanted a credit for our inconvenience. She told us we threatened her by saying we would write this review and that her solution was to fire the employees that waited on us if that would make us happy. The food is always delicious but the service and Christy the manager/owner was completely out ofline. She over talked us, was irrational and was unwilling to listen to us as unhappy customers. Very disappointed in her and the way she handled all of this. While she did offer us a credit I will not be ordering from them again. So sad for a busy that has been in the community for so long. I went to Mr.Chef for the first time. Love the food here. Fresh and taste good. More options and compromise for the customer as me who only can eats salmon. Will go back again. Good service and welcome with smile 😊 I went back again after 2 weeks that I posted the review and wanted to order the same. Sorry that I needed to bring the rate down from 5 to 2. The guy who serviced me the first time was not there. I was disappointed with the lady who worked there and tried to explain about the price with long and repeatedly explanation!! She wanted to charge $7 more. I told her that I ordered here before and she refused it. She said I shouldn't receive this price last time, that guy might want to favor me!! I showed her my previous review and just said goodbye to her with this type of service....

We ordered take-out about 3 weeks ago, I was very disappointed. We'd ordered pork fried rice, it was basically plain brown rice. One of the two pieces of pork was not found 'till we were half way into the container, no scallions, not even noodles and the taste was plain. It was literally plain brown rice. I'd also asked for extra duck sauce and later found out that I'd been charged a premium for it. The rest of the food was ok, not spectacular. Unfortunately we'd ordered late and picked up our food just before they closed, we were sitting at our dining room table back home when we found all these surprises.
