Elks Restaurant — Restaurant in Stratford

Warmly welcomed even 10 minutes before they closed for the day. We have had 2 full days of driving and really wanted a good meal from a local establishment. We knew our drive time was going to be close to the cut off from the posted hours, and really had NO back up plan. Great customer service, friendly and conversational, great item digestion for my husband's choice "smothered asada burrito" with their green sauce. I enjoyed their daily special of club sandwich ( with crinkle fries, my favorite ), the jalapeño ranch was great too! We ate quickly, as we didn't want to cause too much delay for their closing. Seems like the only place in town to eat because there are so many vehicles parked there. BUT there are so many vehicles because the food and service are top notch. The place was packed and there was only 1 person working cashier, server and busser so I didn't have high hopes for great service but she was quick to get our order and our food came out so quickly it took us by surprise.
