I was under the impression that anyone could go in and get a pizza and have a couple beers. I was wrong. I wanted something new and different and found their website with 30 different pizzas. I was excited to go try it out. I had to get buzzed in, but ok whatever. I say down and was asked if I had a membership.... Everyone was staring at me, like the whole bar. Very weird. The bartender told me I needed a sponsor to be a member and couldn't sit there. I told the person I wanted pizza. They said ok you can get pizza. It's in the "bistro" right through that door. So ok... I went through the door and found myself literally in the kitchen where they made pizza with flour and dough and pizza stuff all over the place and a mop and bucket and a table with four seats. It was one of the most awkward experiences in my life. I don't care how good their pizza is. I will never find out after that experience.... What I'm saying is, don't make a fool of yourself and go there unless you are...

I stumbled upon St. Anthony Society in Struthers, Ohio and was totally amazed at how remarkable this pizza was. It was in the basement tucked away from everything. It felt so authentic. I thought Al Capone was going to walk out and hand me the pizza. The sauce was sweet, the meat was a little spicy and the topics were so fresh! this place is a hidden gem of the area!
